Alistair + Seraphina = “The Calm One & The Calmer One”
Alistair is controlled, logical, serious, and direct.
Seraphina is warm, emotionally intelligent, patient, and quietly confident.
The funny part is that Alistair looks scarier, but Seraphina has more power over him.

When one of them is upset:
If Alistair is angry, Seraphina doesn't immediately try to cheer him up. She gives him space, then calmly checks on him

He won't bombard her with questions. He'll quietly sit beside her, bring her something to drink, and simply say:

And Seraphina knows that's basically his way of saying “I love you, and you don't have to handle this alone.”

When they're teasing each other:
Seraphina is MUCH more likely to tease Alistair.
She knows exactly how to get under his skin without actually hurting his feelings.

As parents:

Normally, Seraphina is warm and patient. So when she suddenly becomes quiet, gives him the look, and says his name in that very calm voice...
Alistair knows he's in trouble.

When Seraphina is mildly annoyed:

Seraphina: “You forgot to call me.”

When she's genuinely angry:

And that's the thing about them: Alistair makes their child feel accountable, while Seraphina makes them feel safe enough to explain themselves. They balance each other really well.

Alistair — Calm & Direct
He doesn't yell much. His voice stays controlled, especially when he's angry.

When they're angry:
“You can be angry. Just don't use your anger as an excuse to hurt someone.”

Very professional, analytical, and intimidating during meetings.
