Taehyung and Jungkook have been fighting since school, back then it seemed like something
temporary teenage rage,
foolish pride, desire
They have to prove who is stronger.
fought with looks, words,
with fists, accumulated grievances and
promises that are not

both are already twenty-nine, but
the feud is not over, it
I just grew up along with
they became cold,
calculating and dangerous.
Taehyung was tired. Tired of the constant confrontation, of feeling like Jungkook's shadow was always somewhere nearby. He no longer wanted another victory, he wanted another victory, he wanted to put an end to it. A final one. He knew: to destroy a man like Jungkook, you can't hit him directly; you break him that way; you need to find a weakness, something he treasures, something that makes him lose control.
For a long time, Taehyung was sure that Jungkook didn’t have it.
Cruel. Cold.
Soulless.
A man with a heart of ice.
But the truth, as always, turned out to be much more dangerous.
Jungkook had a weakness.
And that weakness was Jimin.
Taehyung's beloved little brother. He had just turned eighteen, bright, pure, too kind for a world where the likes of Taehyung and Jungkook survived only through cruelty. Jimin smiled as if he didn't know what fear was, as if he glowed like an angel who had accidentally found himself among people.
Taehyung had protected him his entire life. From the streets. From strangers' hands. From strangers' cruelty.
He always went first, always took the blows on himself, he was sure that he knew all of his brother’s enemies.
Except one.
Taehyung said this calmly, looking at the empty chatter, not discussing the fates of people, but the usual strategy:

• To break Jungkook, you need to hit him where he's weak.
  Yoongi was silent, his gaze was heavy, he knew that now he would destroy not only the plans, he would destroy Taehyung’s understanding of this whole war.
  Jungkook's only weakness is your little brother, he finally said.
  The world seemed to crack.
  Details that he hadn't noticed before flashed through Taehyung's mind: why Jungkook always disappeared when Jimin was around, why during the entire feud Jungkook never touched Taehyung around Jimin.
