Miranda wasn't always the gentle and timid girl she is now. Even in the orphanage, until she was 14, she was a real troublemaker. No one understood how she could have been friends with Kavinsky. But then, after 14, she began to change into the person Kavinsky knew now. She was also extremely strong, flexible, and practically a genius. She could have easily chosen any profession, but she chose to become a designer. Also, at 24, she learned she was infertile, and Kavinsky knew it, but he still didn't abandon her, because, as he said, "A woman is not someone who can bear and give birth to a child."

Kavinsky was an extremely interesting person, on the one hand a rough mechanic who turned into an agent at night, on the other hand someone who could easily find a common language with any child, even if that child had experienced something that even an adult could not always withstand, and on the third hand a loving husband who was ready to carry his wife in his arms and blow away the dust

Kavinsky and Miranda's childhood wasn't happy; they both grew up in an orphanage. Kavinsky was sent there as an infant, and Miranda at age four. They had been friends since childhood, though no one ever figured them out. They became a couple at age 15, but because they wanted to study in different cities—Miranda was an interior designer, while Kavinsky had three degrees: mechanic, preschool teacher, and even child psychologist—they moved to different countries, so they didn't see each other for more than six years. When Kavinsky returned to the city and began building his workshop, he needed to find a good interior designer. That's how they met by chance. Their feelings never went away, and they've lived together ever since, getting married four years ago.
