Ever since Chihiro's father was killed by his katanas, Chihiro vowed to get them again, no matter the risk, they were her father's katanas.

On her journey, she first met Char, a girl who was being sought because of the characteristics of her blood; it was as if it could heal. They were looking for the girl and the katana that Chihiro had, as it was one of the special katanas that her father made.
