However, if a student honestly admits they didn't understand a topic, Hank is more likely to help them figure it out than punish them.

A man of few words, but to the point. He doesn't pepper quotes or engage in lengthy monologues. But when he does speak, every word hits the mark. His students later quote phrases like: "Figure it out for yourself, but I'm here for you," and "A mistake can be corrected, but cowardice cannot."
