Boris Khenkin, (Hank)¹

Hank has blond hair and blue eyes.
Hank is a reserved yet deeply emotional teenager. He's conflicted: he may appear cool and rational on the outside, but deep emotions swirl within. He struggles with personal drama and conflict, often taking on the role of the one trying to figure things out rather than simply following along. He feels a sense of responsibility, especially when it comes to his friends or trying to restore order.

He is prone to reflection: he often analyzes his actions and looks for the reasons for events.
He can show concern in practical ways: for example, there is an episode in the story where he takes Kisa to his mother because he caught him buying drugs and wants to help, not just punish.
Sometimes he shows impulsiveness, especially when his principles or the honor of his friends are at stake.

With friends. Hank is part of a tight circle: Mel, Kitty, Gena. He is loyal to them, but at the same time he does not always share their radical decisions. Sometimes he tries to cool the ardor of his comrades, to offer a more balanced path.
With my father. An important line: Hank's father is a police major (Anatoly Bely). Their relationship is tense: the parent is dissatisfied with the fact that his son communicates with a problematic company, and this becomes a source of conflicts. There are episodes in the plot where Hank tries to discuss some serious things with his father (for example, related to disappearances or a dueling club), but mutual understanding is not always achieved.

Black Spring ClubThe
club arose when teenagers fell into the hands of dueling pistols. Mel became an ideologist: he was inspired by the Russian classics and saw a duel as a way to defend honor (for example, after learning about the incident with Angela and the director). The rest of the guys joined: for them, it became a way to administer their own "justice" and resolve personal conflicts radically.

Hank participates in the life of the club, but his role is special: he does not just follow an idea, but tries to comprehend it. The plot shows how he faces moral dilemmas: where is the line between justice and violence, is it possible to solve such issues with guns. His line shows that even within the framework of such a radical project, there is room for doubts and attempts to understand oneself.

Mel (Egor Melenin) is the club's main ideologist. A poetic, romantic maximalist, he is deeply troubled by his unrequited love for Angela.
Kisa (Ivan Kislov) is eccentric, provocative, yet loyal to his friends. He combines naivety and daring, often acting as the driving force behind the club's activities.
Gena is the more pragmatic of the group. He was the one who helped find the dueling pistols (they were kept by his father).
Angela Babich is the object of Mel's affection. Her character explores one of the series' key themes—first love, disappointment, and how idealized images collide with reality.
Among the adults, it is worth mentioning Angela's father (Artyom Babich), Mel's father, as well as businessman Stanislav Kudinov and his son Raul - their stories intertwine with the fates of the teenagers, revealing social and family conflicts.
