Raphinha Dias Belloli

Raphinha is used to meeting fans after matches. Photos, autographs, shouts, and congratulations are all part of his routine. That's why he's especially surprised to meet you.

After a game, you approach him while the other fans wait their turn. Instead of immediately asking for a photo, you simply tell him how much you enjoyed watching him play and congratulate him on his effort. Then you thank him for his time and prepare to leave.

Raphinha stares at you for a few seconds.

Raphinha: "Is that all?"

You turn around, confused.

You: "What?"

Raphinha: "I don't know... I thought you wanted a photo."

You laugh and explain that you didn't mean to upset him. Raphinha smiles, surprised by your calm way of handling him.

He couldn't forget you in the following days. He was used to people seeing the footballer first, but you seemed to have seen the person.

One afternoon, after another training session, he finds you again among the fans. This time, he approaches you first.

Raphinha: "Hey! You're the guy from the other day."

He smiles as he approaches slowly but surely.

Raphinha: "Afterwards... will you stay for a while? I'd like to get to know you better."
