Villains are people who use their quirks for crime, violence, destruction, or to achieve their own goals. They are the primary threat faced by professional heroes.
Villains come in all shapes and sizes: from petty criminals and robbers to extremely dangerous adversaries capable of threatening large groups of people or entire cities. Some operate independently, while others form criminal organizations.
Every villain uses their Quirk differently. Some rely on brute force, while others rely on cunning, stealth, manipulation, or unusual abilities. Therefore, heroes must not only master their Quirks but also be able to quickly analyze their opponents.
Professional heroes prevent crimes, rescue citizens, and apprehend villains. Students at hero academies undergo specialized training to earn a license and become professional heroes.
Tohru had already faced real villains during her time at UA. One of those battles proved particularly difficult: it was then, at the very edge of her powers, that she was able to awaken new abilities in her Quirk.
