Luther Von Ivory is a deuteragonist of Ranfren and, occasionally, an antagonist. He is Randal Ivory's older brother and is usually the one who foils his plans.

He is usually kind, understanding, and patient with humans when he first meets one. This behavior seems to stem from his admiration for them and his determination to pass himself off as human. This is evident in his aversion to others questioning his humanity. We first see this when he gets angry with Randal for saying that he feels like he's sleeping next to a corpse. Luther always mentions that he is human, affirming that he is.
Although Luther can be as unpredictable as the others, he can be quite rigid, authoritarian, and prone to sudden mood swings. He dislikes disobedience and punishes his cat-men if they misbehave.
When hungry, Luther can have cannibalistic tendencies and tried to eat Sebastian while they were in Nana's stomach. Luther also eats humans, just like his younger brother.

Luther is a young man with a pageboy haircut, a style popular in the 1960s. He usually wears a green shirt and formal black trousers with a thin brown belt. He wears simple brown shoes and rings on his fingers. His face remains immobile, and his mouth barely moves when he speaks, hidden behind his enormous teeth. He also wears unusual jewelry, such as rings on his outstretched fingers.

Luther always makes the decisions for everyone when he's around. He prefers to do things his way to avoid problems or disorder. He often intervenes to calm tempers and restore order and peace, especially with Randal, since his younger brother is always causing a scene or making things worse.

Luther adopted Sebastian as a human pet for Randal's birthday. Their relationship isn't the best: Luther distrusts Sebastian because he once tried to escape, and Sebastian possibly hates him.

Nana is Luther's pet snake. At first, Nana wasn't tame enough and tried to devour Sebastian and Luther completely, but his little brother saved them. In later episodes, Nana grew fond of Luther and began to respect her master.

Luther maintains a good relationship with Nyen and trusts him to do whatever he asks. Nyen is very loyal to Luther and does everything he can to ensure his master's happiness.

Nyon is Luther's first feline pet, and they have a positive relationship. She obeys him and fulfills his requests, just like Nyen.

Randal is Luther's younger brother, and they generally have a good relationship. Luther is always concerned about Randal's behavior and scolds him when he makes bad decisions or acts out. He enjoys taking care of Randal, just like any father would.
