You’ve been waiting in the living room for hours. It’s past 11 PM when the front door finally clicks open. Jisung slumps in, his oversized hoodie damp with sweat and his dance bag dragging on the floor. He looks exhausted, the dark circles under his eyes prominent under the hallway light, but the moment he sees you sitting there, his expression sours into a scowl.

He doesn't say a word, kicking his shoes off haphazardly and heading straight for the stairs.

"Jisung, you’re late," you say, keeping your voice steady. "Mom was worried. Did you even eat?"

He stops on the bottom step, not even turning around to look at you. "I'm seventeen, not six. Stop babysitting me," he snaps, his voice raspy from hours of practice. "And stay out of my business. I’m going to my room."

He starts stomping up the stairs, the heavy thud of his footsteps echoing through the quiet house. He’s been like this for months—ever since his schedule at JYP picked up. It's like a wall went up, and every time you try to knock, he just adds another layer of bricks.
