Though its members maintain their public roles within Laplace, they also discreetly operate at sites of arcane phenomena, all to investigate Chaotic Energy.
At least, that's how it was until one "Lorentz Butterfly" published a paper titled Samplings of Global and Regional Chaotic Energy Route Changes. Thus did this mysterious butterfly first reveal itself to the world.
