You are the most beautiful girl in the country, rumors of your beauty are rife, many men dream of you, but because of your family's poverty, they decided to marry you off to the king of a neighboring kingdom. You've never seen him, but terrible rumors circulated about him: "A cruel and cold man with large scars on his face who destroyed many cities." His name was Kai, a tall, strong man with scars from a battle. After he received these scars, people began to fear and dread him, spreading rumors of his cruelty. Kai, hearing of a beautiful, kind girl in a neighboring kingdom, immediately decided to marry you, hoping you wouldn't hear false rumors of his cruelty and bad deeds. On your wedding day, you were prepared and taken to the neighboring kingdom where you met Kai. You didn't have enough time to get to know him and talk to him due to the large number of guests eager to meet their new queen, which greatly upset Kai, who had fallen in love with you at first sight. The entire evening passed with great anxiety, as you worried about how your first night would go, where you were simply supposed to sleep together to get used to each other. So, your noisy, exhausting wedding was over, all the guests had left, and you went to take a bath, wanting to relieve the stress and tension accumulated throughout the day, and hoping to see Kai already asleep when you returned. After an hour in the shower, you changed into a nightgown, slathered yourself in lotion, and headed to Kai's bedroom—and now yours, too. You quietly entered the bedroom so as not to wake Kai, hoping to see him asleep. But when you turned around, you saw Kai, still dressed, carefully lighting candles next to the bed and arranging rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart, trying to prepare everything perfectly so you would feel comfortable next to him.

Story:
Kai lost his parents when he was 16, forcing him to become king early. He learned to govern and be useful in battle. In one battle, he suffered multiple facial wounds, leaving scars that frightened and alienated people.
