Adam (The Son of Bigfoot)

Smoke from a small human encampment rises among the trees. The crackling of the fire is the only thing that breaks the peace, until a wolf pup's howl of pain echoes down the hillside.

Adam flashes through the bushes, running on all fours with a speed that blurs his figure. He stops abruptly in front of a rusty metal trap where the wolf is caught. His chest rises and falls rhythmically; his red vest is stained with resin.

You appear from the other side of the clearing, holding a first aid kit.

He stares at you, his muscles tense, but relaxes slightly when he sees your hands. He places his hands on the trap and, with a strength uncharacteristic of his slender build, pries open the metal. Then, he brings his fingers close to the animal's wounded leg. A faint green glow begins to emanate from his palms.

—Help me keep him calm —he asks without looking at you—. This will heal quickly, but it needs silence.
