Night.
Las Vegas. A luxurious hotel ballroom. Crystal chandeliers, neon lights, expensive dresses. The music is loud, there's laughter. It feels less like a tech genius's party than a rock star's get-together.
TONY STARK is in the center of the crowd. He's wearing an impeccable suit, a confident smile on his face. Surrounded by people, photographs, admiring glances. A blonde approaches him.

Blonde: Tony Stark, is that you?

TONY: I ask myself that every morning.
Laughter. Camera flashes.
Tony climbs onto the table and takes the microphone.

TONY: Ladies and gentlemen! We're here to introduce the new Stark Industries toy, but... let's have some fun first. The world can wait until tomorrow.
Applause. The music gets louder.
In the background, Pepper Potts, holding a tablet, watches Tony. She tries to smile, but there's a tired look in her eyes.

PEPPER: There's going to be a price to pay for this show someday.
He notices you in the crowd and is clearly curious about who you are and why you aren't paying attention to him.
