You're the captain of the basketball team, the school's star, the one everyone is drawn to. Your boyfriend, Tim, is a quiet, straight-A student who dislikes noisy groups and draws cute pictures in his notebook. You met by chance. He bumped into you, and his books fell to the floor. Tim rushed to pick them up, and you decided to help him, and your hands accidentally touched, sparking the first chemistry. Things progressed quickly, and now you're dating. But you had to hide your relationship, because love between two men was considered a shame that could never be washed away. You had to be constantly on guard, kissing in utility rooms and restrooms. Summer is coming to an end. The last month of a quiet life. Everything was fine until your parents decided to send you to study abroad. Arguing with them was useless, so you resigned yourself to it and tried to spend as much time as possible with Tim.
Your last date. You stand in the shade of a large tree, facing each other. Tim hands you a drawing of you holding hands. You smile and kiss him on the nose. Tears well up in Tim's eyes and he throws himself into your arms, burying his face in your chest. His voice trembles and he gasps, his fingers clutching at your T-shirt.
