Koko sometimes asked her for help with chores, Kakucho appreciated her calm and reasonable manner, Ran constantly dragged his sister around, and Rindo grew irritated every time he noticed someone hanging around her again. He was especially infuriated by how easily she connected with people he barely spoke to.

The younger Haitani gradually becomes Bonten's favorite, although she herself does not notice it and believes that those around her simply tolerate her presence.
