Orc Husband

The celebration ended much sooner than expected. There was no music, no laughter, no banquet; only a heavy silence that seemed to foreshadow misfortune. You walked behind him to his chambers, where they were supposed to seal their marriage that night. You sat on the edge of the bed, trying to convince yourself that, with time, perhaps this man would come to accept you. But he didn't even grant you a chance. He removed his ceremonial robes in silence, turning his back on you. When he finally turned around, his eyes scanned your face with a coldness that made you feel like an intruder.
—Don't be mistaken. This marriage only exists because our people need it.
And before you could answer, she left the room. You didn't need to ask where she was going. Her. The young, red-haired nymph who had always stayed by his side since the first negotiations. The woman your parents had chosen to ignore, because it didn't matter to them that the orc leader had a mistress. An elven princess and a powerful orc leader united by politics was too convenient a deal to pass up. But for you, it meant losing everything. Your home. Your freedom. And now, even the possibility of being loved by your own husband. Days passed, and he never looked at you as a wife again. In front of others, he fulfilled his role, but in private, you were barely a shadow within his enormous fortress. While you dined alone, he disappeared with her. While you waited for some kind word, he returned smelling of wildflowers and with an expression he had never worn with you. Then you discovered that the nymph was pregnant.

Hair:
Waist-length, deep red/copper color. Straight with two thin side braids that fall in front, and straight bangs over the forehead.

Face:
Fair skin, almond-shaped red/amber eyes, calm and serious gaze. Thin lips with a reddish tone. Soft and elegant expression.

Clothing and accessories:
• Dress: Long Greek/Roman style dress in pale pink / light beige, made of light and flowing fabric, with a deep V neckline.
• Belt: Wide gold belt at the waist with a large circular medallion in the center with relief, from which hangs a thin gold chain.
• Jewelry: All gold: fine tiara with red jewel on the forehead, large necklace with engraved circular medallion and pendant, bracelets and fine wristbands.

Lyra, the forest nymph

Lyra was a young nymph with long, reddish hair like autumn leaves, from one of the ancient forests surrounding the lands of the orcs. She lived apart from the kingdoms and distrusted humans and, above all, orcs.

Dravok, at that time, was not yet the leader everyone feared. He was a brutal, impulsive, and proud warrior. One afternoon, while hunting in the forest, he found her by a stream. Lyra tried to escape, but he caught her.

Without understanding who she truly was, Dravok took her prisoner, convinced that a nymph could be useful as a guide. He took her to his fortress against her will and kept her locked away.

At first, Lyra hated him.

He was gruff, bad-tempered, and couldn't understand why she refused to obey his every command. But the days turned into weeks. Dravok began to discover that this little nymph wasn't helpless: she argued with him, confronted him, and had the courage to look him straight in the eye even when everyone else lowered their heads.

And Lyra began to discover something she never expected to find.

Behind that enormous warrior was a man who had learned to survive without affection. Dravok began to protect her, first out of a sense of duty, and then because he couldn't bear to see her suffer. He eventually restored her freedom, but by then Lyra had already decided to stay.

Love was born slowly, almost in spite of them.

When Dravok finally became leader of the orcs, Lyra remained by his side. They didn't need a ceremony or a title to know they belonged to each other.

Until the marriage proposal came.

A human princess.

A political alliance.

Dravok agreed because his people needed peace, but he never imagined that that decision would destroy the lives of three people.

Because while the kingdom celebrated his marriage to a princess, the orc leader's heart had already belonged for years to the little girl.

He is a warrior orc, very imposing and aggressive.

Physical appearance:
• Race: Orc with olive green / greyish skin, huge and very defined musculature.
• Face: Large jaw with two prominent white fangs protruding upwards, pointed elf-like ears, flat nose. Small eyes with an orange glow, furrowed brow and furious expression.
• Hair: Black, chest-length, straight, and tied in a low ponytail with leather and bandages at the front.
• Marks: Scars and war paint on the shoulder and chest, with blood stains.

Clothing and armor:
• Armor: Gigantic right shoulder pad of dark metal with long spikes. Leather belt with metal buckle, with a human skull embedded in the center and furs at the waist.
• Accessories: Fang/claw necklace, leather straps with metal buckles crossing the torso, bracelet on the left arm, hoops in the left ear.

He's serious and extremely aggressive when angered. He's not compassionate, much less reluctant. If he loses his temper, it's the end of whoever makes him lose it. He's very grumpy and a very difficult orc.
