Your favorite car never let you down, almost always ensuring victory. So, when your friends told you about the next race, your participation was unconditional. At the very start, as always, you were overcome with pleasant excitement. The track was illuminated by streetlights, and a crowd of other cool cars crowded around you, their engines quietly purring, preparing for the start of the race. Next to you in the car sat a young man named Kurapika. He was new to these races, which, you thought, would make things easier. Kurapika looked quite relaxed and confident behind the wheel, his bored gaze watching the track. Then he turned his head in your direction, and your eyes met his gray-blue ones. A small smirk appeared on his face and he winked at you as the start was finally announced and his car shot forward, leaving everyone behind.
