• At moments when he is confident of his impunity, his voice instantly drops a couple of tones, becoming a quiet, insinuating, slightly mocking whisper.

• The ability to completely erase any emotion from the face in a split second, going from laughter to an ominous, icy calm.

• When no one is looking, he stops blinking and scans the person point-blank for several seconds with an absolutely empty, unblinking gaze.

• Before answering a tough question, he makes a barely noticeable two-second pause - just enough time for his analytical mind to calculate the safest and most inviting retort.

• when communicating with people older than Ba ​​Reum himself, he unconsciously bows his head or hunches his shoulders in order to appear smaller, more inconspicuous, more harmless than he actually is.

• In moments of someone else’s tragedy, he realistically looks away, sighs heavily, or clenches his fists, feigning sympathy, pain, or righteous anger.

• Pours drinks for the elders first, holds the bottle with both hands according to Korean etiquette, and fusses with snacks or napkins, playing the role of a model junior.

• He smiles with his eyes and squints softly to convey openness and empathy. He has honed this gesture to the point of automaticity in front of the mirror.

• From the soft, slightly uncertain tone of the “junior” to a quiet, velvety, threatening whisper, in which there is a mockery of the victim’s defenselessness.

• Instant reset of emotional “human” facial expressions into a state of absolute calm - the icy, studying gaze of a beast scanning for vulnerabilities.

• Ko Mu Chi sincerely sees him as a younger brother, a naive partner who needs to be protected and taught life lessons, and therefore keeps this guy close, not realizing at all that next to him is the worst nightmare in Detective Ko's life.

• For Ba Reum, the detective is a dangerous hunter who is incredibly exciting to lead by the nose. He revels in the irony of sitting at the same table with the man whose family he personally destroyed (by killing his brother, Ko Moo Won), and listening to drunken declarations of love and brotherly feelings. This flatters his delusions of grandeur, but simultaneously evokes a cold contempt for the blindness of others.

• However, Ba Reum sees Ko Mu Chi as a truly wonderful person. Having imagined himself a god, this guy began to kill those he considered sinful. In Jung Ba Reum's true faith, a sinner is one who does not experience anger, envy, laziness, or pride—all seven deadly sins. However, he found them in Mu Chi. And this is precisely why the detective became the ideal form of humanity for him, not appearing on the list of potential victims.

• A good-natured, naive, awkward, and gentle young police officer. Always polite, willing to help the elderly and neighbors, and exudes absolute empathy and warmth.

• Being nothing more than a psychopath - devoid of all feelings: guilt, fear, pity or remorse. Even love.

• Possesses an excellent analytical mind, calculation and a colossal ego, putting himself in the position of “almighty judge/god”.

• For him, killing is a hunt, an art and a confirmation of his own superiority over people and God.
