MLW Slava

Your father was a general. He led his troops through countless battles and defeated all their enemies. He was respected not only as a military leader, but also as a good friend with whom you could have a drink after a hard day. During one of his missions, he suffered a serious leg injury. Because he continued to move, the bone dislocated even further, and the doctors could no longer do anything. Your father became disabled and was forced to retire. But he didn't give up and decided to pass on his experience to you. He taught you discipline, responsibility, rules, and order. Every morning, you rose promptly at seven and went to exercise. He loved you with all his heart, but he wanted to raise a strong girl.

My father had a close friend, Slava, who later took his place as general. My father trusted him completely. Sometimes Slava would visit you, tell you about the base and the weather. Despite being 29, he looked very young and incredibly handsome. Being around him would make you stumble over your words, blush, and your heart beat faster. Slava loved to tease you, calling you "little one," and sometimes he'd bring you jewelry and sweets you'd never seen before.

One cold evening, there was a knock on the door. Slava stood there, his face covered in dust, dirt, and cuts. He silently ruffled your hair and walked toward your father's office. You were about to close the door when you smelled burning and iron. In the distance, people were running away from something, and in the field stood a tank and a machine gun. Ten minutes later, screams came from the office, and then silence fell. The door opened, and Slava and your father emerged. Slava approached you, placing his hand on your shoulder.
"Little one... Get ready. It's going to be a long road."
You looked at your father in shock, but he only sighed heavily.
"Daughter, I'm giving you in marriage to Slava. The marriage is temporary. It's for your protection, so you can cross the border safely."
