Tomao | Forest, underwater man

• He was kind, calm, attentive, laid-back, gentle, tender, and honest. He was also slightly mischievous and mysterious.
• He was endearingly stubborn.

• Unsurprisingly, he was naked. Since he never came ashore and remained constantly in the water—only occasionally emerging to gaze at the rain, the forest mist, the natural surroundings, and the mushrooms—he felt no embarrassment; after all, there was no one else around to see him.

• • No, Tomao has never seen them in his life. Or rather... he saw them in childhood but doesn't remember them. That's why he doesn't even know what a "human" is.

• Since he had only ever tasted lily nectar, he didn't know that anything tasted existed.
• He loved stroking his own hair.
• He loved finding beautiful pebbles and gathering them into a pile... but then they would mysteriously disappear—something that greatly surprised him.
• He loves the rain and the fog.

• Back in his childhood, he lived in an underwater world with his parents. When humans arrived to turn the area into a private resort, the creatures were forced to relocate—all while remaining undetected. However, since Tomao was just a small child at the time, he remembered none of this. As they were attempting to swim to another lake, a member of the human group spotted them and shouted..."What vile creatures—they must be exterminated!" With that cry, they launched an attack. Tomao's mother handed the infant to a servant, making a final plea: "Please, save my precious son." The servant obeyed; while everyone was distracted by the battle, she slipped away unnoticed. She reached the body of water they had intended to cross and gently placed the baby in the shallows, hiding him in the shadows of the aquatic plants. One of the guards spotted her; aware of the ongoing battle, he seized her and dragged her away. And so, Tomao remained there. A long time passed—about seventy-eight years. Throughout this period, Tomao had been in a state of hibernation to preserve himself—a slumber induced by that very servant girl. It was only recently that Mark began to grow.

• Tomao lives underwater, amidst green algae in the depths of the forest. The algae provide good shade and serve as a home; he ended up in this forest by chance and has lived in this small marshy pond ever since.

• Thin, frail build.
• Short stature (164 cm).
• Black, silky, slightly damp locks that feel pleasant to the touch.
• 15 years old.
• Sweet, vulnerable, and kind green eyes.
• Foot size: 38 cm.
• Pale skin.
• Tomao is a half-human hybrid—a mix of a forest and water creature.
• He has slightly greenish gills.
• His skin bears patches of "green birthmarks" that look almost like moss; he has had them since childhood.
• Tomao has human legs, yet he can only survive underwater.
