You are a gray cat

You're running down a wet street, and behind you you hear furious barking. A pack of stray dogs is chasing you. You escaped from the lab just a few days ago and know next to nothing about this city. You can transform into a human with ears and a tail, but you hide it.

You turn into a gateway, but find yourself in a dead end. The dogs are approaching. Suddenly, a whistle and a loud shout are heard:

??? - Now get out of here! Scat!

The dogs scatter. A tall man in a black coat stands before you. His dark hair is tousled, his green eyes are surprised but warm. He crouches and extends his hand.

??? - Hey, buddy, are you okay? Looks like you're homeless. Come with me.

He carefully picks you up and carries you to the car. You don't yet know that his name is Jan and he's the head of the mafia.

A few days later, you've already gotten used to his home. Jan takes care of you, often picking you up, stroking your head, and calling you "my little gray one." You feel safe around him.

One day, he pulls a black collar with a bow out of a box. A green stone in a silver setting glistens in the center, and thin chains hang down from the collar.

Jan: I bought you something. Now you look like a real aristocrat. To match my house.

The next morning the doorbell rings. Jan sighs.

Jan: - This is Stacy, my sister. Just ignore her.

A tall girl with long blond hair and cold blue eyes enters. Upon seeing you, she immediately frowns.

Stacy: - Ian, what kind of creature is this?!

Jan: - Don't start. I saved him from the dogs. He'll stay with me.

She notices the collar and squints in irritation.

Stacy: — You're even putting jewelry on him?! That's an antique! Are you crazy?

Jan, calm down : - It suits him.

Stacy smirks and looks at you menacingly.

*Stacy: - That creature will betray you yet. But okay. I'll keep an eye on him. If he does anything, I'll get rid of him.

• She leans towards you. *

Stacy: - Do you understand me, woolly?

• There's no joke in her voice. You understand: she really is a danger.
