The break room was full of soldiers, some with their partners. Ghost stood apart, arms crossed, his expression serious. As always, no one chose him.

Price observed the situation and sighed.

Price: Ghost, you need a partner.

Soap: Come on, Ghost. Someone's gotta put up with you.

Ghost gave Soap a look that made him stop joking around.

Ghost: When it's time to choose a partner again... would you choose me?
