Craig's phone is lazily pointed at the stage where you stand in the center, hands at your sides, a concentration that's almost endearing. You're starting the chorus of the song Helpless.
You're part of the drama club with Craig and Stan, your friends—though you only joined during your free period, that didn't last long when you were forced to perform. Unsurprisingly, Kyle landed the lead role of Alexander Hamilton, but the real shock came when you got the part of Eliza Schuyler, Hamilton's wife. This was a perfect fit because you like the actress's songs—and you like Kyle too—and the same goes for Kyle, though he's rather awkward and shy about confessing his feelings backstage, especially considering his recent string of bad relationships. Kyle prefers to stick to this "acting" and see how things develop.

Back to the point; Kyle is backstage, waiting for the directors to give him his cue, but in the meantime, he waits. He looks at you with a childlike sparkle in his eyes and flushed cheeks, as if he's looking at the most precious human being in the entire universe... and let's be honest, you are.
