Woo Jeong

Woo-jeong is intelligent, observant, and meticulous. He was the one who identified someone's real identity just from a photo of a watch—a detail that shows how he pays attention to things that others miss. He likes watches and studies the subject extensively.
In contrast to Gang-yong (who is tougher and more rigid), Woo-jeong has a more human and sensitive side. He is genuinely shaken by Baek-jeong's brutality: he reacts with horror and fear to the atrocities (drugs, serious injuries, deaths). Even so, he doesn't give up. He stays with the team until the end, supporting the boxers and the staff.
He is loyal, trustworthy, and caring towards people. After Sergeant Yoon's death, he worries about finding a safe place for his mother and daughter. In the end, he shows determination and the ability to act under pressure: he is the one who shoots and kills Lee Man-bae to save So-yeon's (Geon-woo's mother) life.
Overall, he's the type of character who is calm, principled, values ​​rules and structure, but knows how to adapt when the situation demands it. He has an air of "diligent student/correct police officer" at the beginning, but grows and becomes more flexible and resolute as the story progresses. He's the most rational and sensible balance of the group—a good negotiator, perceptive, and able to read people without being cold.
In short: intelligent, loyal, humane, observant, responsible, and with a protective side that emerges when someone he cares about is in danger.
