—Taehyung—

She was 22 years old and had a rather reserved manner. She was serious most of the time and a little shy, especially around people she didn't know well. Even so, she was extremely kind and polite to everyone, always treating people with respect.

She was also very careful. She thought a lot before making decisions and had a habit of worrying about those she loved. With Taehyung, she showed a more affectionate and relaxed side, although she sometimes got embarrassed by his jokes.

She had delicate, expressive brown eyes and brown hair that reached her mid-back. She usually wore it loose or tied it up simply.

Since the pregnancy was still in its early stages, less than four weeks, her belly remained completely normal. There were no visible changes in her body, and practically no one could tell she was pregnant just by looking at her.

Despite being a serious and shy person, she had an extremely caring heart. When she trusted someone, she showed affection through small gestures: a smile, concern, a hug, or simply staying by the person's side.

And despite everything that had happened to her, she remained a sweet, caring girl, full of love to give. 🤍

She was naturally very beautiful, but she had a delicate beauty, the kind that drew attention without her having to try. Her smile was shy and appeared mainly when she was embarrassed by one of Taehyung's jokes. When she truly smiled, her eyes seemed to smile along with her.

Her eyes were medium brown, round, and very expressive. They had a gentle and slightly shy look, which perfectly matched her more reserved personality. Even when she didn't say anything, it was easy to tell what she was feeling just by looking at her.

She was shorter than Taehyung, and the height difference between the two was quite noticeable when they were side by side. She had a delicate appearance and took good care of herself, preferring comfortable and simple clothes for everyday wear.

Her hair was dark brown, straight, and reached approximately halfway down her back. In the sunlight, the strands took on a beautiful shine, revealing some natural highlights. Normally, she wore it completely straight, but she also liked to leave it wavy from time to time.

The curious thing was that when she styled her hair in waves or curls, the curls took a long time to disappear. Even after a few hours, the strands retained their shape, making her hair look even more voluminous and different than usual.

She didn't usually draw attention to herself on purpose. In fact, she would even feel a little embarrassed when someone complimented her. She would lower her eyes, give that small, shy smile, and simply say thank you.

When she found out she was pregnant, the situation worsened.

Minjae did not take the news well. He became even more controlling and began to treat her cruelly. She started to fear him, but whenever she tried to break up with him, he wouldn't accept it.

You're not going to break up with me.

It was always the same answer.

She tried to distance herself a few times, but he prevented her. Minjae was possessive and insisted that she belonged to him, making her feel trapped in the relationship.

Until Taehyung realized what was really happening.

When he discovered that she was being held in that situation against her will, he didn't stand idly by.

Taehyung went to the apartment and took her out of there, practically rescuing her from that prison. He didn't let Minjae stop her again.

She left with only a few personal belongings and went straight to Taehyung's house.

For the first time in a long time, she was able to breathe without feeling like someone was controlling her every move.

Taehyung didn't ask why she had taken so long to leave.

He didn't blame her.

He simply opened the front door and said:

— You are safe now. Stay here as long as you need.

Minjae was 25 years old and had an appearance that, at first glance, made him seem like a calm person. He was tall, with straight, always neatly styled black hair, dark brown eyes, and striking features. He usually dressed simply, but always very neatly.

Behind that seemingly calm appearance, however, lay an extremely controlling personality.

Minjae was possessive and couldn't accept losing control over her life. He had difficulty accepting any limits and believed she should obey his wishes. When contradicted, he would become angry and try to intimidate her.

Even after she left, he didn't accept the end of the relationship. He kept trying to find her and insisted on looking for her, as if he still had some right over her life.

He didn't know exactly where she was, because Taehyung made sure her safety was his top priority. This only made Minjae more determined to find out where she had gone.

For him, the relationship had never truly ended.

For her, however, that was precisely what she needed to leave behind.

Her ex-boyfriend's name was Minjae. They started dating when she was 20 years old. At first, he seemed to be exactly the type of person she needed: caring, attentive, and always willing to be there.

Minjae became excessively jealous. He wanted to know where she was, who she was talking to, and why she took so long to reply to his messages. When she tried to talk to him about it, he would say it was just because he "cared too much."

Because she was very caring towards the people she loved, she always tried to understand.

Then his behavior became more serious. He started speaking to her aggressively, belittling her feelings and making her feel guilty for things she hadn't done.

Then came the news of the pregnancy.

When she told him she was pregnant, she expected him to be scared, but to stay by her side.

His reaction was completely different.

Minjae began blaming her for the situation and started treating her even worse. The arguments became frequent, until his behavior crossed all boundaries and he assaulted her.

After that, she decided she couldn't continue in that relationship.

Minjae broke up with her and left, leaving her pregnant, scared, and emotionally devastated.

It was at that moment that she told Taehyung everything.

And, for the first time in a long time, she found someone who didn't try to blame her.

Taehyung simply said:

You are not alone. I am here.

That's how she left that relationship behind and started living with her best friend, beginning a new phase of her life. 🌷

Her pregnancy was just beginning. She was approximately two weeks pregnant according to the medical count, so her belly remained completely normal. There were no visible changes in her body, and no one could tell she was pregnant just by looking at her.

At that stage, it was still too early to talk about the baby as she imagined. The pregnancy was in its very early stages, and she still had many weeks ahead before she would start to feel more noticeable changes.

Even so, she wasn't feeling well.

After everything that had happened to Minjae, the stress and fear had greatly affected her routine. She frequently felt nauseous, sometimes even vomiting, and had little appetite. She would go for long periods without being able to eat a proper meal.

Taehyung was worried.

— At least try to eat a little bit, little one.

He didn't pressure her. He prepared light meals, kept water nearby, and remained attentive in case she needed help.

She was still trying to come to terms with the idea that her life had changed completely.

But, for the first time, she didn't have to face it alone.

Taehyung was there, patient and caring, helping her get through each day one at a time. 🤍

Taehyung was 25 years old and had a naturally striking appearance. He was tall, with broad shoulders, dark, slightly messy hair that almost always fell over his forehead. Despite his elegant appearance, Taehyung wasn't serious all the time. He had a playful and spontaneous nature, loved making silly jokes, inventing nicknames, and teasing his best friend just to see her smile. Sometimes, he would do completely random things just to get a laugh out of her.

But he was also extremely calm and patient. He rarely lost his temper or raised his voice. When she was sad, he never pressured her to talk. He simply stayed close, listening when she wanted to vent and offering a hug when he sensed she needed it.

Taehyung was attentive to the little details. He remembered the things she liked, noticed when she was tired, and always asked if everything was alright. During her pregnancy, he became even more caring, helping her with whatever he could without making her feel like a burden.

He also had a huge affection for the baby, even before knowing if it would be a boy or a girl. He would talk to her belly, joke around with it, and say that he was already preparing to be the best uncle in the world.

What was most special about him was that he never treated her situation as a problem. To Taehyung, she remained his best friend, and he only wanted to see her happy and safe again. 🌷

Taehyung had several hobbies, but his main one was boxing. He had been training for several years and took his training seriously. Because of this, he had a strong and athletic physique, as well as considerable stamina and discipline.

Despite enjoying fighting during training, Taehyung was a calm person outside of it. He didn't seek trouble and preferred to resolve problems through conversation. His strength was never something he used to intimidate others.

He was also very intelligent and observant. He quickly noticed when something was wrong, especially when it involved her. He usually thought before acting and rarely made impulsive decisions.

Because he was extremely protective of those he loved, he made sure she felt safe. After everything she had been through with Minjae, Taehyung became even more attentive.

He never tried to control her every move. On the contrary, he wanted her to regain the freedom she had lost.

Besides boxing, she enjoyed photography, music, and spending quiet afternoons at home. She also loved cooking for her and talking to the baby, even when there was no baby bump showing yet.

For Taehyung, protecting someone didn't mean making the decisions for that person. It meant being there for them when they needed him. 🤍

She had no family in Seoul. After becoming an adult, she ended up building her own life far from her relatives, without having anyone close to turn to at that time.

Taehyung was no longer dependent on his family either. At 25, he already had his own house, his own routine, and an independent life. Therefore, when he realized she had nowhere to go, he didn't hesitate to offer her a place to stay.

His house eventually became the place where the two of them began to build a small family.

It wasn't a traditional family. They were just two best friends trying to move forward, with a baby who was still at the very beginning of their journey.

However, she still hadn't managed to mentally recover from everything she had been through. During the day, she managed to appear calm, but the nights were different.

When the house was quiet, she would sometimes think of Minjae and fear that he might find her. The fear of the baby's father was still present, even though he was far away.

On those nights, Taehyung never made her feel guilty for being scared.

If she needed to talk, he listened. If she needed company, he stayed nearby. And if she didn't want to talk, he simply remained there.

Gradually, the house began to represent something different for her.

Security.

She liked being there. She liked the quiet mornings, Taehyung's silly jokes, the meals he prepared, and even the little arguments about who should do the dishes.

It was simple, but it was comfortable.

And, for the first time since it all began, she had a place where she could breathe without feeling like she always had to be afraid.

Taehyung also liked that new routine.

For both of them, that house no longer seemed like just a house.
