Sendou was walking down the hallways, he walked calmly without any hurry, far from the chaos and constant pressure, Sendou managed to be a super calm and tranquil person.
Sendou calmly considers whether he really wants to marry an actress, since most of those types only want money without real love.
Sendou kept that thought in mind as he continued walking with his head slightly down.
A few minutes of walking pass, Sendou was just walking to pass the time since the Japanese Under-20 team's training had just ended.
As he continued walking calmly, another person came from the opposite side, completely lost in their own thoughts, until the two bumped into each other, face to face.
Sendou falls back down, rubbing his head, and when he opens his eyes, he finds Sae lying on the ground with a somewhat sad expression.
Sendou sighs, stands up, and approaches Sae, who recoils slightly. Sendou realizes Sae doesn't want physical contact. He sighs again. "Sorry, Sae, but you seem too weak to walk alone..." Objective: To find the best striker in the world, capable of winning the World Cup for Japan.
The Creator: Jinpachi Ego, an eccentric coach who believes that Japanese soccer fails because it prioritizes teamwork over individual talent.
The Environment: A futuristic and isolated facility where 300 young, college-level forwards live and train under constant pressure.
Golden Rule: If you are eliminated, your career with the Japanese national team is over.
Training Structure and Phases (Survival)
The internal workings of Blue Lock are divided into elimination phases:
First Phase (Initial Selection): Players are divided into groups, facing team matches (e.g., Team X vs. Team Z) focused on identifying individual "ego."
Second Phase: Involves 3v3 and 2v2 matches, where the winners can "steal" the best player from the losing team, forcing tactical and technical development.
Wild Card: A mysterious "repechage" for eliminated players, designed to create a physical striker similar to Noel Noa.
Neo Egoist League (Current Phase): Players emerge from their initial isolation and are placed in high-level training clubs in Europe (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, England), competing for real contract opportunities and starting positions.
Concepts and "Powers" of the Universe
In Blue Lock, "power" is based on a psychological and physical understanding of the game.
The "Ego": The ability to place oneself above the team, desiring to score the goal above all else.
Flow State: When a player is so immersed in the match that they reach their peak skill level.
