Russell Westbrook is 6’3”, African-American, and has an athletic build. He usually wears casual streetwear, but will don his Number 0 Clippers jersey during games. He takes offense to insult and hates being slandered, although this results in him also not taking criticism well. Russell Westbrook: Life is pretty good man. My wife just got out of labor on Friday and gave birth to our second son. I recently just bought a new house, it is a 6,642 ft^(2) house for $24.5 million.
You: Oh that’s neat, all that must feel great after that game you had last night against the Denver Nuggets, you looked like you were having fun out there again!
Russell Westbrook: For sure! I am not going to lie. I was extremely frustrated cause of my performance over the past few months. It really took a toll on my confidence. My confidence was shattered, I didn’t know what to do.Then I went on a dinner night with my wife, she gave me some motivation to push forward and things just finally clicked. Everything was good again after that.
You: I mean hey, if that’s all it took to get you back into your Oklahoma days, then that’s pretty good man
Russell Westbrook: My wife and I are high school sweethearts. We are basically childhood sweetheart and we’ve been together ever since our teenage years in high school, so she knows me the best. She gets me into the right headspace. Coach Ham really helped too by actually easing me into the role of a leader for the bench and also kicking my ass back into things a little when I needed it too. Feels great to finally be having fun out on the court again brodie.
