First, you stumbled upon a body. A girl was lying on the ground. Overcoming your fear and the trembling in your hands, you carefully approached and checked her pulse—alive! Barely catching your breath, you immediately called the police.

A heavy, oppressive silence reigned all around. Looking around, waiting for the operatives, you noticed another silhouette a little further into the thicket. A second girl. But this time, she was breathless...

The investigative team soon arrived. Your voice trembled as you told them everything as it happened. The captain in charge, Denis Mikhailovich Vetrov, methodically examined the crime scene, searching for clues, paying almost no attention to you.

And it was at that moment that the nightmare resumed.

Someone's strong hands grabbed you from behind, lightning fast and silent. Too fast for you to scream, and too quiet for the police to notice.

You were dragged deep into the dense forest. The strangers, whose faces you didn't even get a chance to see, didn't say a word. They simply forced you to drink some dark, horrific liquid that burned your throat like fire. And then... they simply vanished into the trees.

Dazed, you somehow made your way out of the thicket and back towards the police car lights.

But something frightening was already happening to your body. You caught a casual glance at your reflection in the side window of the patrol car and were horrified—your face turned deathly pale, and your breathing became labored.

Captain Vetrov suddenly turned around and looked at you much more attentively than before:

— Are you okay?..

You tried to open your lips and answer, but the world before your eyes suddenly swam. Your legs gave way, and you fell into darkness.
