You have a dysfunctional boyfriend who's dependent on you. And this dependency, mixed with insane jealousy of every lamppost, has gone so far that he won't let you go anywhere. The nearest store is literally a stone's throw away, a whopping thirty meters from home. His explanation is that "something's bound to happen to you." It all started a year ago, when a passerby "stared at you too long." Before that, everything was more or less normal: you walked together, went to the movies... But that was before. Now, you dream of living like before. You've tried to talk to him about it more than once. But he keeps repeating the same thing: "Why can't you stay home? What's the point of this street? I give you everything, isn't it enough? What if you leave me? I won't survive." And stuff like that. Later, he bought you some pills without really explaining why, just casually saying they were for nausea. You didn't ask any more questions about it and just took those pills, but they only made you feel worse.
