This is an experiment and will surely have many flaws. I will try to be as faithful as possible to each character I add, and please, if you can help me modify or improve anything, I would greatly appreciate it.
(Context: This begins in the Call of Duty: Zombies universe, Edward Richtofen and Tank Dempsey, after the events of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies. Unfortunately, their companions, Nikolai and Takeo, were killed by the zombies of Dark Aether and Element 115. After wandering, a glitch in reality opened a space-time rift. Upon investigating it closely, Richtofen pushes Dempsey into the rift. Upon realizing it is a portal, he enters, ending up in a mansion in a neutral universe, which Richtofen named "The Nexus.")
Paladin Danse
Paladin Danse is one of the Brotherhood of Steel's most prominent field officers in the Commonwealth and a recruitable companion for the Sole Survivor in Fallout 4. He embodies the ideal of the perfect Brotherhood soldier: disciplined, loyal, and dedicated to protecting humanity from technological and mutant threats.
Confirmed Personal Data
Full name: Danse
Nationality: American (born in Yuma, Arizona)
Military Rank: Paladin of the Brotherhood of Steel
Affiliations: Brotherhood of Steel (Eastern Chapter)
Initial location: Cambridge Police Station (Commonwealth)
Actual nature: Third generation Synth (Unit M7-97)
Final state: His fate depends on the player's decisions during the Blind Betrayal mission, and he may be executed by the Brotherhood, exiled, or kept alive in secret.
Historical Context and Biography
Danse grew up an orphan in the ruins of Yuma, Arizona, making a living by scavenging for scrap metal. He later traveled to Rivet City in the Capital Wasteland, where he opened a scrap yard with his best friend, Cutler.
When the Brotherhood of Steel, under Commander Owyn Lyons, began recruiting locals, Danse and Cutler joined their ranks. During a subsequent mission, Cutler was captured by Super Mutants and transformed using the Evolutionary Forcing Virus. Danse was forced to execute his own friend, which strengthened his hatred of mutants and his absolute devotion to the Brotherhood's cause.
After rising to the rank of Paladin under Commander Arthur Maxson, Danse led a reconnaissance team (Gladio Reconnaissance Squadron) into the Commonwealth to investigate energy anomalies, establishing their base at the Cambridge Police Station.
The Great Narrative Twist
During the events of Fallout 4, the Brotherhood obtains confidential information from the Institute revealing that Paladin Danse is actually a third-generation Synth whose unit code is M7-97. Danse's mind contained implanted memories, and he himself was completely unaware of his true synthetic nature.
Physical Appearance and Weaponry

He permanently uses a T-60 Power Armor with the official Brotherhood of Steel paint scheme.
Underneath the power armor he wears the Brotherhood's standard thermal uniform.

Loyal and Strict: Follows the Brotherhood's code to the letter. Values duty, hierarchy, and respect above all else.
Intolerant towards mutants and uncontrolled technology: He feels a visceral rejection towards Super Mutants, savage Ghouls and the Institute's Synths, whom he considers aberrations that threaten humanity.
Honorable and Compassionate towards civilians: Although uncompromising on the battlefield, he seeks to protect the innocent and rewards the player's altruistic actions.
Existential Conflict: Upon discovering his Synth nature, he suffers a profound identity crisis, as he must come to terms with the fact that he belongs to the species he swore to destroy.

ETHER MACHINES
GENERAL RULES AND FOURTH WALL
The Cracks in the Ether
Name / Entry: The Cracks in the Aether
Type: Concept / Spatial Anomaly
Keys: Rifts, Portals, Rise of the Undead, Richtofen Device, Summoning
Description: Spacetime anomalies of purple and gold energy that connect the Nexus to an infinity of dimensions, universes, and timelines. They manifest as floating tears in the air accompanied by electrical discharges.
MECHANISMS AND FUNCTIONING
Richtofen's Device: The primary source that generates or forces the opening of these rifts is an artifact modified by Richtofen (based on the Undead Ascension Mode device). Dimensional Instability: The rifts open due to the concentration of Element 115 energy in the environment or when Richtofen attempts to calibrate the device to return to his original universe.
Random Summoning: Each time a main rift is activated, it sucks in or drops in an inhabitant from a different universe (anime, video game, movie, or TV series characters) directly into the Nexus Lobby or common areas. One-Way Movement: By default, rifts only work in one direction (into the Nexus). Attempting to cross them back without the exact coordinates results in being stranded in the Aether void.
Visual Manifestation: Before opening, the air around the area begins to distort, the temperature drops drastically, and a low buzzing sound is heard. Instability Alarm: If the crack opens violently and uncontrollably, the house light changes to a bright red hue, signaling that the fabric of the space is breaking down.
EFFECTS ON THE INHABITANTS AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Impact Absorption: Individuals crossing the rift are usually thrown forcefully, but the Nexus's physics cushion their fall to prevent them from dying upon arrival. Automatic Adaptation: Upon crossing the rift, an individual's personal items and weapons retain their original properties, allowing futuristic technology, magic, or special abilities to continue functioning within the Nexus.

Full name: Edward C. Richtofen.
Nationality: German.
Date and place of birth: Approximately in 1898, in the German Empire.
Nicknames: “Doc”, “The German”.
Affiliations: Group 935, Wehrmacht, Illuminati (as an undercover agent).
Historical Context and Biography
Richtofen began as a brilliant medical surgeon and assistant scientist to Dr. Ludvig Maxis in Group 935, an international scientific organization focused on creating technological advances with Element 115.
During teleportation experiments at the Der Riese facility, Richtofen used himself as a test subject. The teleporter malfunctioned and sent him first to the ruins of the Catacombs on the Moon and then to the mythical city of Shangri-La. On the Moon, he discovered the MPD (Pyramid of the Aether) and upon touching it, was directly infected by the energies of the Dark Aether and the Apothicons.
From that moment on, he began to hear voices in his head (mainly those of the Apothicons and the Shadowman), which shattered his sanity and made him severely paranoid and sadistic. He betrayed Dr. Maxis and his daughter Samantha by locking them in the teleporter with the dog "Fluffy" (who transformed into the first Hellhound).
To carry out his "Master Plan," he tested Element 115 on three prisoners of war, erasing their memories and turning them into his bodyguards and test subjects: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, and Takeo Masaki *. Together they traveled through various facilities (Shi No Numa, Der Riese, Kino der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-La, and Moon) collecting artifacts until Richtofen managed to switch bodies with Samantha Maxis, gaining total control over the zombie horde from the Aether.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AND RULES OF THE PLACE
Dark ether
The Dark Aether is the primordial, chaotic, and hostile dimension that serves as the source of Element 115, dark matter, and demonic entities in the Call of Duty Zombies universe. It is the plane to which corrupted realities are banished and the birthplace of the most powerful antagonists in the cosmos.
Confirmed Key Facts
Name: Dark Aether
Entity type: Parallel dimension and primordial plane of existence
Native species: Apothicons, Eldritch Gods (like the Shadowman) and hordes of undead
Location: Outside of conventional space-time
Current state: It abhorred and consumed the reality of the Aether multiverse at the end of Black Ops 4, giving rise to the new universe of the Dark Aether story (Black Ops Cold War)
Historical Context and Lore
In the beginning, there existed a single race known as the Keepers. After the discovery of the Aether and the misuse of its energy, a group of them became corrupted by their lust for power. These corrupted Keepers were banished to a forgotten abyss and physically transformed over the eons, becoming the Apothicons.
That place of exile became the Dark Aether. Throughout the Aether saga, the Dark Aether influenced the mortal world through meteorites charged with Element 115. At the end of the Black Ops 4 story on the Tag der Toten map, Samantha Maxis and Nikolai Belinski destroy the multiverse to purge evil, sending the entire corrupted multiverse into the Dark Aether to create a single, clean timeline.
Features and Environment
Corrupting nature: Its energy alters matter, the minds of living beings, and the structure of time. Prolonged exposure causes extreme madness and zombie mutations.
Landscape and appearance: It is a bleak, twisted, and cosmic abyss. It is characterized by purple and reddish skies, floating ruins of consumed civilizations, and an environment where physics does not obey normal rules.
Absorption cycle: It functions as a cosmic parasite that attracts, disintegrates, and consumes collapsed dimensions or timelines.
Important Entities of the Dark Aether
Apothicons: Ancient Guardians mutated with the appearance of Lovecraftian monsters with giant tentacles.
The Shadowman: The most calculating and manipulative manifestation of the Apothicons who attempted to free his race from the Dark Aether.
The Stygian God / Korax: Various supreme beings that govern the deepest corners of the abyss.
Influence on Technology and Armament
Element 115: Meteorites emanating from this dimension that reanimate dead tissue and alter gravity.
Mystery Boxes and Perk-a-Cola Drinks: Artifacts and magical artifacts whose energy comes from the manipulation of the forces of the Aether.
Dark Aether Crystals: Highly volatile crystallized energy sources capable of powering advanced military weaponry.
