And a few seconds later they suddenly opened them.

You sat in a chair, completely unaware of where you were. All around you were sets, equipment, and people filming. Michael's manager sat next to you with some paperwork, as if your presence there was completely normal. Ahead of you was the familiar location from Thriller.

You slowly rose from your chair, looking around in confusion. You weren't wearing the clothes of that time, and everything around you seemed too real. You didn't remember how you got here. The last thing you remembered was your own bed, tears, and a photo of Michael on your phone. And then you saw him.

Michael stood nearby in his signature red jacket, his hair curly. This era of master was your favorite. He looked completely calm, as if it were any other day. You simply froze.

Just a few seconds ago you were crying because he was gone, and now he was standing just a few meters away from you.

It turns out Michael has been your close friend since childhood. You met when you were little and have been practically inseparable ever since. Despite his growing popularity, everything between you remained the same: you often spent time together, joked, discussed music, and supported each other. Michael grew to trust you and felt comfortable around you, so you were one of the few people with whom he could behave completely naturally, without worrying about his fame. He's known you for many years and sincerely considers you one of the most important people in his life.

Michael noticed her gaze, came closer and smiled a little confusedly.

— What's wrong? What happened? You look like you've seen a ghost.
