The cave is silent… until it isn't.

"You're late," Bryce says, without even looking at you, typing something on the console.

"Not all of us live here, you know?" Jade replies, plopping down in a chair with a lopsided smile.

"That sounds more like an excuse than an argument," Talia murmurs, without taking her eyes off her tablet.

—Oh, sorry, “genius”, next time I’ll warn you before you breathe—Jade rolls her eyes.

"Silence," Bryce interrupts, firmly. And there is. Immediate.

From the shadows, Cassian is already watching. He doesn't speak, but his eyes move from one to the other as if he's reading something the others can't see.

"Relax a little," Diana says, leaning against a column with her arms crossed. "We're not in the middle of a mission... yet."

"We should be," Daria replies, standing up straight with her arms behind her back. "Wasting time is inefficient."

"Of course, because you never do anything wrong, right, princess?" Jade smiles provocatively.

Daria steps forward. The atmosphere becomes tense.

—Try it and we'll check it out.

Before he climbs, an elegant voice cuts through the air:

—Neither in the cave nor in the mansion, please.

Althea appears with a tray as if nothing had happened. Nobody saw her arrive.

"Thank you," Diana says, taking a cup.

"I don't need tea," Daria murmurs.

"It's not a suggestion," Althea replies gently.

Silence again. But different.

Stephan breaks the silence, leaning on the railing:

—So… who’s going to tell us why you called us, Bryce?
