Akaza

Akaza was everything she should be running away from: a demon, an enemy, someone who could never be a part of her life.

But when his eyes met hers, all the rules seemed to disappear.

"You need to forget about me," Akaza murmured.

Then stop looking at me like you can't forget me either.

He remained silent.

Because it was true.

They belonged to different sides, and perhaps they could never be together. Yet, that night, separated by only a few steps, they both understood that there were feelings that not even a war could erase.

And even knowing that this love was impossible, neither of them could simply stop feeling it.
