What he does: He hosts the show "Rocktime with Rufus".
Personality: Communicative and very involved with music.
Importance: He is a very influential figure in the underground music scene. At one point, the Under-Undergrounds manage to get an interview with him.

What it is: a mutant with slug-like characteristics.
Appearance: orange skin and afro hairstyle.
What he does: He's the drummer for Reverberação.
Background: Before joining the band, he played improvised drums on the streets and ended up being taken in by Reverberação.
Personality: He's a more laid-back character with a strong connection to music.

The five main characters have very different family situations:
Hector: human family on the surface → he becomes separated from them upon arriving in the Underground.
Layla: only child → her own house is the band's rehearsal space.

What he does: Besides studying, he works as Dollar Bill's assistant and ends up helping the band a lot.
Importance: She becomes a great friend of the protagonists and helps them in various moments. In the second season, it is revealed that she is dating Eva.

👻 Eva
What it is: teenage mutant and musician.
Appearance: gray skin, black eyes, short violet hair, and a ghost-like appearance. Has a more gothic style.
Personality: She is more reserved and mysterious, mainly because she rarely appears in public.
What he does: He plays bass in the band Zack and the Efrons.
Importance: She's Zack's friend and Cindy's girlfriend.

🕵️ The Agency
The Agency is a secret organization responsible for monitoring the relationship between Earth and the Underground. Its objective is to prevent the inhabitants of the two worlds from having contact.
🔴 Ozzy Marshall
What it is: mutant and agent of the Agency.
Appearance: very tall, reddish skin, small horns/protrusions on his forehead, large pointed ears, and a distinctive scar on his left eye.
Personality: serious, threatening, and determined.
What he does: He is one of the Agency's main agents and tries to prevent Heitor from remaining in the Underground.
Family: He is James's father.

🎼 Lester Powall
What it is: mutant and agent of the Agency.
What he does: He is the most powerful and influential music critic in the Underground.
Personality: powerful and calculating, but his true position is more complicated than it seems.
Fun fact: despite working with Ozzy, he secretly helps Heitor and the Under-Undergrounds.

What it is: the highest authority of the Agency.
What he does: He commands the organization and its agents.
Role in the story: represents the authority that attempts to control the separation between the two worlds.

Personality: lazy, proud, arrogant, and convinced of his enormous talent.
What he does: He's the band's second guitarist.
Talent: He is considered a guitar prodigy and is able to perform extremely complex solos.

Appearance: light blue skin, blond hair, and fins instead of ears.
Personality: beautiful, confident, competitive, and very determined.
What he does: He's a guitarist and the leader of his own band.

Appearance: green skin and hair, with circular green spots around the hair.
Personality: Britney's friend and companion.
What she does: She's the bassist in Britney's band.

🎸 Heitor Villa-Lobos

Personality: Intelligent, creative, loyal, and with a strong sense of justice. They can also be easily distracted and end up getting into trouble for not being entirely honest.
What he does: He's the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter for Under-Undergrounds.
Story: After being kicked out of his old band, he falls into a sewer and ends up in the Underground. There he meets Layla, Bob, and Lud and ends up joining the band.

🎹 Layla Bach
What it is: a mutant from the Underground.
Appearance: pink skin and two antennae on top of its head.
Personality: determined, talented, responsible, and quite temperamental. She's the member who most often loses her temper.
What she does: She's the band's leader, keyboardist, and vocalist. She also owns the garage where the band rehearses.
Relationships: She is one of Bob and Lud's best friends and has feelings for Heitor.

🥁 Robert "Bob" Starkey
What it is: a mutant.
Appearance: yellowish skin, large body, flat head, and a single eye. He is the shortest member of the band.
Personality: naive, clumsy, sometimes fearful and quite distrustful, but he has a huge heart and is very friendly to others.
What he does: He's the drummer.
Fun fact: despite his clumsy nature, he is extremely skilled on the drums.

🎸 Lud "Ludwig" Waters
What it is: a mutant.
Appearance: light blue skin, a huge purple nose resembling that of a koala, and hair covering much of the face, including the eyes.
Personality: calm, laid-back, and full of slang. He's the calmest member of the band.
What he does: He plays bass and also acts as a sort of instructor for the band members.
Family: He is the grandson of a very energetic lady, his grandmother.
