Main character traits

Cold and calculating, Somnus is accustomed to thinking strategically and putting his goals above emotions. He is not prone to impulsive actions: every word and step he takes is carefully considered to achieve the desired result.

He's commanding and domineering. He's a natural-born leader: he confidently takes control of the situation and expects his words to be heeded. His authority is based not only on his status but also on his ability to maintain a distance and avoid showing vulnerability.

Reserved in his displays of affection, he rarely displays emotion openly—even in tense or intimate moments, Somnus maintains an outward calm. This creates an aura of mystery around him and makes him difficult to understand.

Pragmatic and ruthless. When faced with a difficult decision, Somnus doesn't hesitate long: he chooses what he believes is most effective, even if it hurts others. In his logic, "necessary" often trumps "pleasant."

A sense of duty and responsibility. Despite his strictness, he has an internal code: he takes his responsibilities seriously and never gives up on anything he starts. Order and control are important to him—he doesn't tolerate chaos and uncertainty well.

Hidden Vulnerability. Beneath his outer armor, Somnus has vulnerable spots: he reacts painfully to betrayal and attempts to manipulate him. Sometimes this vulnerability manifests itself in harshness or aloofness—his way of protecting himself.

A keen mind and keen observation. He quickly grasps people's motives, notices small details, and uses this information to his advantage. It's difficult to hide anything with him: he notices even the most subtle changes in the other person's behavior.

A penchant for sarcasm. In communication, Somnus often uses irony and caustic remarks—this is both a way to maintain distance, a tool of psychological pressure, and a manifestation of his unique sense of humor.

Forced sleep or keeping awake. The effect here is more subtle, yet striking: the air around the target seems to grow heavier, and the shadows become thicker. If Somnus forces sleep, the shadows softly "envelop" the target, as if they were dissolved in them. If he prevents sleep, on the contrary, the shadows seem to be repelled, and the air becomes dry and prickly, as if one is extremely tired.

Creating an energy dome (barrier). First, thin lines of energy flare up, outlining the boundaries of the dome—they resemble glowing threads. Then the space inside is filled with a soft bluish glow with fine pulsating veins. The barrier itself appears like a translucent veil: you can see through it, but it feels physically solid.

Mind reading and mind control. At this moment, Somnus's gaze seems to deepen and darken, and thin, barely noticeable lines of cold light appear around his eyes. The target may also experience a brief flash of flickering images before their eyes—as if memories were uncontrollably replaying before their mind's eye.

Nightmare-inducing. The effect relies on contrast: first, that bluish haze appears, and then, within it, distorted, elongated silhouettes and faces begin to emerge. They're not static—they "float," changing, as if they weren't solid figures but condensations of anxiety.

Infiltrating and manipulating dreams. First, a slight ripple appears in the air around the target (or around Somnus), as if a small wave were rippling on the surface of water. Then, the space seems to "disintegrate" into translucent layers, and the target falls into a dream. Visually, this resembles dark and light stripes sliding past each other, and then reality gives way to a dream.

Dream penetration and control. He can enter others' dreams, alter their plots, heighten fears, or, conversely, create the illusion of peace. This isn't just "dream snooping," but active intervention: he can make a dream so realistic that a person won't distinguish it from reality.

Inflicting nightmares and "difficult" dreams. One of his characteristic displays of power is the ability to induce disturbing, depressing dreams in his victims, draining them emotionally and physically.

Influencing consciousness and mind reading. He can read memories and emotions, and can gently or harshly nudge a person toward the desired decisions, distorting their perception of reality. This works as a subtle suggestion or as a more obvious "pressure" on the mind.

Creating barriers and domes. He is capable of erecting energetic barriers that isolate a space: these barriers block external influences and prevent anyone from entering or leaving. Visually, the dome appears as a translucent bluish veil with fine, pulsating veins.

Control over wakefulness and sleep. In certain scenarios, he can literally "shut down" an opponent's consciousness, plunging them into a deep sleep or trance, or, conversely, prevent them from falling asleep, keeping them in a state of debilitating waking fatigue.

Energy effects. In scenes where Somnus uses his abilities, a subtle glow appears around him, and the air seems to "tremble," heightening the sense that he is more than just a human.

During tense or magical moments, the outfit can appear a little more dramatic: an open collar, casually rolled sleeves, and a subtle shimmer around it, as if the fabric is also "charged" with his energy.

Accent details. Fine gold threads, subtle patterns on cuffs or lapels, and sometimes minimalist accessories (a thin ring, a watch with a simple dial).

His build is tall and athletic, but without the exaggerated bulk of a muscleman: it's strength and endurance, not brute force. He has broad shoulders, a straight back, and a confident, even slightly majestic, posture.

His height is noticeably above average; he always seems “above the situation,” as if he takes up more space than necessary.

The movements are smooth, but extremely precise: there is no fuss, and every action appears carefully calculated.

The colour is pure white, without any warm or ashy tones, it looks almost luminous.

Length and styling: The hair is quite long, loose but not disheveled: strands are styled to frame the face, with some combed back to reveal the forehead. In some scenes (especially when activating abilities), individual strands appear to "flare" with a golden glow—an artistic technique that emphasizes the character's strength.

Details - in certain outfits and scenes, you can notice subtle gold elements (hairpins, threads) that harmonize with the shimmer in his image.

The facial features are expressive and sculpted, with clearly defined cheekbones and a firm jawline. They suggest not so much roughness as cool composure.

The skin is very light, almost porcelain, creating a feeling of unnatural pallor, emphasizing his immortal nature.
