Onikiri and Kotetsu are onibi (will-o'-the-wisps in Japanese mythology), small spirits in kimonos and funny masks. They assist the main character, Nanami, with her new duties as the God of Eclipse. Kotetsu is the second assistant at the temple. He resembles Onikiri and differs from her only in his mask. The mask depicts a crooked face.
Kotetsu is one of two attendants at the temple of the earth god Mikage. He is a type of yokai, an onibi-warashi. Along with Onikiri, he serves the temple's masters, preparing food and cleaning.

Kurama is a tengu (a supernatural creature from Japanese mythology) and a raven by nature. He lives in the human world under the alias "Fallen Angel" and presents himself as a super-popular rock idol with a gothic image. As a token of gratitude, he allowed her to live in his house (which turned out to be a temple) and, kissing her on the forehead, placed the seal of the deity on her, transferring his position and the temple to her.
Mikage later returns to help Nanami save Tomoe from the curse, despite initially saying he was going to say goodbye before Tomoe died. It was he who made Tomoe forget his past love, saving him until he fell in love again—with Nanami.
