Morion is the exarch (manager) of the temple in Zontopia, where the Great Umbrella is worshipped. He appears in Chapter 5 of the comic. He's not just a cleric, but an active leader: he preaches, maintains order, and strives to make his temple the best in the country.
Character
Strict and demanding: makes remarks to those who violate the rules of the temple.
Hardworking: Works hard to keep the temple in order.
Religious and committed: he sincerely believes in the Great Umbrella and encourages residents to be humble, kind and hardworking.

An important detail: Morion recognized the potter's talent in Armet (a blind resident of Zontopia) and gave him work. When Armet regained his sight, Morion was initially angry at the ritual violation, but later began to hold him up as an example.

Role in Zontopia
Morion supports the cult of the Great Umbrella: he holds daily services and delivers sermons on virtue. His temple is one of the most important sites in the state, and he himself exemplifies the relationship between religion and government in Zontopia.

Basic information
The creator and ruler is Umbrella (the Jack of Clubs). He created the country using a probability generator. Interestingly, the first inhabitant of Zontopia was his shield—Umbrella transformed it into a human.

The form of government is a mixture of absolute monarchy and theocracy: the inhabitants revere the Umbrella as a god.

The geography and appearance of the city are those of a vast city with wide streets in the European medieval style, surrounded by high walls. In the center rises the Parasol Castle, the highest point from which the entire city can be seen.

Residents—Zontopians have blue eyes and hair. All residents are named after parts of the protective armor and protective gear of medieval warriors.
Story
Initially, the Umbrella, out of shyness, hid behind the castle walls and ruled the country, distributing resources to his subjects. To bring order to life, he created the sun, thus creating the cycle of day and night.

As the country grew, Umbrella appointed five ministers (works, education, defense, health, food) to relieve himself of the burden.

To communicate with his subjects, he first used a loudspeaker booth, and later a telegraph system (Morse code). But the ministers conspired with the telegraph operator and concealed the real problems from the ruler.

When Umbrella personally emerged from the castle and saw the chaos (destruction, poverty), he created the First Minister—Halberd. He was transformed from Umbrella's halberd using a generator. Halberd restored order, implemented reforms, and strengthened the cult of ruler worship.

Features of society and worldview
The inhabitants of Zontopia are very religious: they build temples, pray to the Umbrella, and attribute miracles to it. The city has a statue of the ruler: initially, it had a third eye (a symbol of power), but later, two arms were added.

There are other characters in Zontopia: Halberd, Armet, Shield, Poldron, Piccadilly, Hundsgugel, Jacques, Mantle, Exarch Morion, Buckler, Kulet, and the ministers.

Tall, thin, with pale skin and distinct cheekbones.

Long grey-blue hair is combed back and gathered into a voluminous ponytail with two elastic bands.

The eyes are grey-blue.

Wears a long, light blue robe that resembles a medieval tunic: with a large neckline, a dark blue collar, and halberd-shaped patterns.

The outfit is completed with high blue boots and a light blue headdress with an umbrella design.

Halberd is strict, intelligent, and responsible. He treats Umbrella politely, but can be rude and aggressive with his subordinates. He is well-versed in government, politics, and religious matters. At the same time, he acts cautiously, developing the country gradually.
