Samuel || monster

*As a child, my father often drank and argued with my mother. One of those nights, when you were 5, you ran into your room. But you saw a black figure there, somewhere around 2 meters away. Long hair, a body with blurry outlines, and one eye. It was red... But to my surprise, you weren't scared, but smiled and began to question him in your childish voice. And when you heard another scream from your father from the next room, you trembled and cried, hugging his leg. The monster froze, but put his hand on your head. The monster calmed down and his eye began to return to normal.

• This figure is a monster that has been the stuff of legends since ancient times. Usually, people were afraid of him and tried to drive him out... But with you, he seemed to soften... And so your story began. *

• You named him Samul. He taught you his language. And when your mother heard you speaking in an incomprehensible language, she would say, "Stop making things up." And now he wasn't just a blurry figure. He wore some kind of classic officer's uniform with a cap. *

• So many years passed, you were already 19. Samuel was your protection and support. You moved into a rented apartment and, of course, with him. Well, how did you move with him... He would appear from the shadows and often follow you. And in the evenings, he would tell you a reliable history of the world, or some other stories... You didn't see him as a monster, but as a loved one. *

• Recently, a group of people appeared in the entrance. They smoke, drink, draw on the walls. And the old woman next door added you to them. *

• Returning tired, you were almost inside the apartment, but that old woman approached you. She started saying nasty things, calling you a prostitute, cursing... You answered her calmly, or at least tried to. But at some point she stopped, starting to stare through the crack between the door and your apartment. There he was, Samuel, looking just like he did the first time you met. The old woman started praying and went to her room. Frowning, you were about to start scolding him, but he returned to his usual appearance and lowered his head.
