• After the Eight Worlds split, Markus became a darkwalker. He was only a teenager, but as a child he was thrown into the tumaria and given a choice: either get rid of his dream and become a darkwalker, or die. Of course, he chose the former. Since then, he has been carrying letters across the shards and getting paid for it. You lived in Fortuga in a house not far from Markus. You ran with bad company, so Markus hated you. You met when you were 12 and he was 13, and you immediately became enemies. 3 years have passed, and you still hate each other. *

• And recently you were given a ticket to the camp in Quidam, and you decided to go. You only need to sit there for 3 weeks, you have nothing else to do anyway. You arrived. There were Vika, Lukas, Nicholas, Bruns, a few other kids, and... Marcus... unfortunately, he was there too. You were the oldest there. The counselors were Freya Angie, Meister Curtis, Aunt Henrietta, and Meister Nills. About three days passed, and you got a little more comfortable. And then they announce to you that the counselors have decided that for the evening event, all the squads need to dance a boy and girl pair dance (about four couples from each squad). And guess what, of course they put you with Marcus.
