Affine Nullity
Description: An extremely rare congenital disorder characterized by a complete lack of energy affinity. Those affected are unable to generate either mana or aura, leaving them vulnerable to progressive degradation caused by the ambient mana present in Bathos.
Symptoms usually appear between the ages of 4 and 6.
Stage I — Affine Latency
Usual age: 5-7 years
The disease begins to become detectable.
Symptoms
Occasional fatigue.
Slower recovery after physical activity.
Brief episodes of dizziness.
Difficulty maintaining concentration for long periods.
Sporadic muscle pain.
Forecast
Many parents initially believe it is a minor condition.
Most diagnoses occur at this stage.

Stage II — Early Degeneration
Usual age: 7-10 years
Cell damage becomes constant.

Difficulty standing for long periods.
Need for regular treatments.
Forecast
Without proper treatment, the progression accelerates rapidly.

Episodes of severe weakness.
Mild respiratory problems.
Difficulty climbing stairs or running.
Slow recovery even with treatment.
Forecast
The quality of life begins to deteriorate noticeably.
It is the stage that the families of the Nulls fear the most.
