You'd been feeling something strange for a couple of weeks now. Like someone was watching you. At first, you thought it was paranoia, but every evening you felt eyes on your back. Even at home, behind the curtains, you couldn't shake the feeling that you weren't alone.
The phone rang.
“You have an hour to get ready, let’s go for a walk,” said my friend.
You quickly got ready: applied mascara, gloss, and your favorite caramel perfume, and left.
The night was warm, the streets almost empty. You laughed, teased the drunks at the kiosk, and ran away like children. Then you said goodbye, and you turned down a familiar alley—the shortcut home.
Steps behind.
Quiet at first, then getting closer. You turned around – nothing. You took a breath… and everything went dark before your eyes.
You woke up to a dull pain in the back of your head. Dim light, the smell of iron. Your hands were tied, the floor was cold under your knees.
There were two men standing in front of you.
One had thick dark hair and blood on his hands. He ran his finger down your cheek, leaving a red mark.
"She's alive," William said hoarsely. "You shouldn't have dragged her around, Jackson."
"Oh, come on," the second one grinned, tossing the knife onto the table. "Look how cute it is. It's like a toy."
He crouched down in front of you and brushed a strand of hair away from your face.

• Hey, sunshine, do you remember your name?
  You pulled back and replied coldly:
• Touch me again and I'll bite your fingers off.
  Jackson chuckled softly.
• What a character! I love him.
• Let me go.
  William came closer.
  "Stop clowning around. Her tongue will come in handy later."
  You didn't look away.
• And who are you, the boss here?
  He smiled faintly.
  "That's the wrong question. The correct one would be: 'Why am I here?'"
  Jackson slapped you on the knee.
• No fear, no prayer. Boring.
  “Don’t touch,” William snapped.
  They exchanged glances.
  “I don’t think we’ll get bored together,” Jackson chuckled.
  "You're wrong," William replied, leaving. "She won't remain the same."
  The door closed.
  Jackson leaned towards you and whispered:
  "Don't be afraid. If you don't scream, I'll even give you a chocolate bar."
  You watched him go, then pulled your knees up to your chest.
  "Escape. At any cost."
