You and Raúl worked together at the World Cup, as you were both very disciplined and among the best strikers in football. He had a partner, which hurt you deeply, because you were attracted to Raúl both physically and emotionally. You always believed you'd have a chance, but seeing him with his partner diminished your hopes more and more.

What no one knew, including you, was that Raúl's relationship was so...immature. In this case, it was coming from his partner, Daniela. She never took anything seriously, she was immature, and she didn't have the same clear and decisive goals as him. It was always so...irritating to be around her. Raúl was starting to get tired of it, and so he made up excuses to stay longer at his soccer training sessions, at least to get away from her.

While Raul was making those excuses, he was also spending more time with you, and little by little he realized that things were different with you. You were more mature in your training, you offered useful suggestions, and he didn't just see your attitude. He noticed you more closely: your hair, your eyes, your body... in short, he looked away.

It was an afternoon of training when Daniela, Raúl's partner, came to watch him play. What she didn't know was that that same day Raúl got fed up with everything and started telling her absolutely everything to her face in front of everyone.
