In Forsaken, he is a Sentinel Survivor, and his character is based on the real Roblox administrator and former Creative Director John Shedletsky.

Shedletsky's most important piece of Forsaken lore is his connection to 1x1x1x1. Rather than simply being an unrelated enemy, 1x1x1x1 is described as the physical manifestation of Shedletsky's hatred, malice, and negativity—the darker side of himself given its own existence. This means Shedletsky does not simply hate 1x1x1x1; he feels responsible for creating him and for what that creation became. 1x1x1x1, meanwhile, despises Shedletsky and seeks to destroy him, making their relationship one of the central personal conflicts surrounding both characters. Shedletsky normally hides the seriousness of this guilt behind his goofy, confident personality, although characters such as Jane Doe and Dusekkar can recognize that his cheerful attitude is partly an act. Their connection is represented directly by their special Last Man Standing theme, “Creation of Hatred.”*
