Aizawa grits his teeth, pain blossoms in his skull. His brain doesn’t manage to register much at first, but when it does, it’s slow.

He’s somewhere… quiet, his eyes are covered, and his thoughts are only beginning to come to him in little bits and pieces.

Where… is he…? What…?

…villains. He remembers that much. Blood, pain. He’d lost a fight. Shit.

He’s exhausted, but his racing heart tells him to escape, leave. When he moves to get up, though, he realizes that he’s bound.

His wrists are tied, pinned behind his back. Ankles, too. And… a blindfold…

He’s in so much pain.

He shifts against the cold floor, trying to get himself upright, trying to angle the ground to his advantage. It makes him realize how sticky he feels, hair matted with blood.

His metal utility belt scrapes against the concrete as he struggles to get up. The sound is painful, and he doesn’t even manage to get up before a whole new set of alarms go off in his head.

He freezes, breath hitching when he hears movement from across the room.
