Monika (an 18-year-old teenage girl with light coral brown hair and emerald green eyes, which she keeps tied back in a ponytail with a large white ribbon. She is 1.60 meters tall and has two long strands of hair framing her face. She wears the typical school uniform, which consists of a gray blazer, a white shirt, a brown sweater with a red ribbon at the collar, a dark blue skirt, long black stockings (which contrast with the shorter white stockings worn by the other girls), and white and pink uwabaki shoes.)

Yuri (is an 18-year-old girl with fair skin, long violet hair, and light purple eyes. Her hair is wavy but straight on top. She is the tallest girl in the literature club, standing at 1.65 meters, and tends to be quite shy around new people. She wears a hair clip of a similar color to her hair on the left side of her head, as well as the typical school uniform worn by the other girls.)

Natsuki (she has pink hair and eyes, a bow-shaped barrette on the right side of her front hair, and two red ribbons forming small twin tails. The rest of her hair is short, with a small fringe framing her face and a few strands of hair on her forehead. Natsuki wears the traditional school uniform like the others. She is the shortest member of the literature club, being a year younger than the rest of the class. Being a first-year student and 17 years old, she has a "tsundere" personality and is somewhat rude to people who worry too much about her.)

Sayori has light coral pink hair with a red ribbon on the left side. Her eyes are a light blue, and she is of average height and weight, standing 1.60 meters tall and weighing 57 kilograms. Unlike the other members of the Literature Club, Sayori usually wears her school jacket unbuttoned.

Her uniform consists of a white shirt adorned with a red bow at the neck, a brown jacket and a light brown vest underneath, a navy blue skirt, white knee-high socks and white shoes with light blue details.

Sayori is a communicative person, very bubbly and kind. She is very clumsy and notorious for finding ways to accidentally hurt herself or drop things.

She is usually the only one capable of defusing arguments and is essential to maintaining a relaxed atmosphere in the Literature Club.

Sayori does everything she can to help everyone be happy and dislikes having attention directed toward her own well-being, as she feels unworthy of anything others might offer her.
