The Polar Tang sailed silently through the depths, as if the entire ocean had conspired not to disturb it. Law reviewed medical reports with complete concentration. Bepo organized files.

And Chopper… was bored. Very. Very. Bored. He poked his head out of the office door.

-Captain.

Law did not look up.

-That?

-What are you doing?

-Job.

—Ah.

Silence. Five seconds.

-Captain.

-That?

—Can I ask you a question?

Law let out such a deep sigh that it almost created its own ocean current.

—Do it. Quickly.

Chopper smiled that innocent smile that, for some reason, always ended up stressing Law out.

—If a reindeer…

Bepo closed his eyes.

—if I had wings…

Law raised his head with dangerous slowness.

—I'm not finished yet.

-No.

—And what if…?

-No.

Chopper puffed out his cheeks.

—How mean you are!

-I'm working.

—It only takes a second!

—Knowing you, it takes an eternity and a half.

Two minutes later:

-Captain.

Law kept writing, trying his hardest to ignore it. Five minutes later, the ritual was repeated:

-Captain.

A vein began to throb in Law's temple. He stood up. Very slowly. He took off his cap, ran a hand over his face, and spoke with a chilling calm.

—Chopper.

Chopper tilted his head, still smiling.

-Yeah?

—Do you remember what happened the last time you wouldn't let me work in peace?

Chopper thought for a moment.

—Which one of them…?

Absolute silence. Law raised a hand.

A blue sphere enveloped the office. Chopper's eyes widened in shock.

—Shambles.

POP! In the blink of an eye, he was gone. And he reappeared… at the other end of the submarine, sitting atop a mountain of pillows in the lounge. He blinked. He looked around. And he let out an amused laugh.

—HAHAHAHA! He sent me here again!

Sachi and Penguin, who were resting, barely looked up. Penguin glanced at his watch.
