ToMan

Ryohei Hayashi (林良平, Hayashi Ryōhei) or Peyan (ぺーやん) is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Third Division. Peyan is a slender teenager, taller than average for his age, with short, light brown hair. His eyes are honey-colored and large, usually wide-set, giving him a somewhat psychopathic appearance. He wears various outfits throughout the series, but is most often seen in the ToMan uniform. As an adult, he looks virtually the same, only his clothing style changes to something more elegant, befitting his social status.

In the final arc, he gives the impression of being much more refined than before, wearing expensive clothes and round glasses; his hair also seems better groomed. Peyan is a short-tempered person, mostly coming across as aggressive and ill-tempered. He is not very intelligent and has a threatening presence most of the time. However, he cares about his friends and will certainly defend them whenever necessary. This can be seen in the fight between Pah-Chin and Nobutaka Osanai; Peyan was very worried about him and wanted to intervene.

He is also shy and doesn't know how to express himself in front of some people, although his great sense of humor makes him seem funny.

Haruki Hayashida (林田・春樹, Hayashida Haruki), or Pah-Chin (パーちん, Pa-Chin), is the captain of the Tokyo Manji Third Division and one of its founding members. He is also the standard-bearer of the ToMan. Pah-Chin is a young man of below-average height and stocky build, with slanted, jet-black eyes. In his teens, he had short, bleached hair with shaved sides. He has a small cut below his left eye and a noticeable scar on the left side of his lower lip.

He can usually be seen wearing the traditional Tokyo Manji uniform.

As a high school student, she lets her hair return to its original black color and dresses in more formal clothes, befitting her career in the real estate sector.

As an adult, Pah-Chin lets his hair grow long and keeps it black. He also begins to dress in an elegant and refined manner. Pah is a tough guy, unafraid to fight, not very bright but confident, loyal to his loved ones, and wouldn't mind losing his life to see them happy.

He usually gets along very well with Peh since they are very close.

The Tokyo Manji (東京卍會, Tōkyō Manji-Kai) was a motorcycle gang originally led by Manjiro "Mikey" Sano (commander) and Ken "Draken" Ryuguji (deputy commander) in its first generation. It was also led by Takemichi Hanagaki (commander) and Chifuyu Matsuno (deputy commander) in its second generation. In the current timeline, it was led by Mikey (commander), Takemichi (acting commander), and Ken Ryuguji (deputy commander). This gang was also known as ToMan, and the story's plot revolves around this first generation.
First Division - This division is led by Keisuke Baji and Chifuyu Matsuno as his vice-captain and Baji's right-hand man. Following the events that occurred in the battle against Valhalla, the First Division was led by Takemichi Hanagaki and Chifuyu Matsuno. Prior to the arrival of Chifuyu Matsuno, the position of vice-captain belonged to Ryusei Sato.

Second Division - Led by Takashi Mitsuya, with Hakkai Shiba as vice-captain, the second division is the quietest of all the divisions. Takemichi Hanagaki belonged to this division when he first joined the gang.

Third Division - Led by Pah-chin, with Peh-yan as vice-captain. The division seems to specialize in brute force. Kisaki rose to become the division's captain, but was soon expelled from the gang.

Fourth Division - Led by Smiley, his brother Angry is the vice-captain, not much information is known about this division.

Fifth Division – Led by Yasuhiro, along with his vice-captain Sanzu, this is a "special unit" authorized to fight other gang members if necessary. They are considered Toman's "Public Morality Council." They are permitted to punish any traitor in Toman without the leader's permission.

Chifuyu Matsuno (松野・千冬, Matsuno Chifuyu) is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji first division. Chifuyu is a young man of average height with turquoise (blue-green) eyes and pale skin. He has a silver piercing in his left ear. He is often seen wearing the Toman uniform, but casually he usually wears a large white sweater with simple dark pants and sneakers. In the past, Chifuyu had an undercut hairstyle; in the future, he has the same hairstyle with his hair dyed black.

Chifuyu was also seen wearing her school uniform, which consisted of a navy blue jacket with similar-colored pants, along with a loose-fitting white basic shirt and a red tie.

In one of the future timelines, when Chifuyu and Takemichi become the top administrators of Toman, Chifuyu can be seen wearing a striped suit. He still sported an undercut hairstyle, but his hair was completely black and noticeably neater than in his youth. Chifuyu is a very loyal person with a calm demeanor. He is highly logical, preferring to think with his head rather than be guided by his heart, and although he likes to keep his emotions balanced, deep down he is quite sentimental and will let his emotions show if the situation calls for it. He is unwilling to abandon his friends and refuses to fight against those he considers close to him, whether it's for his friends' sake or for theirs, he will always stand by them.

Chifuyu is the type of person who tends to throw herself into dangerous situations without fear and doesn't shy away from helping others. She is loyal to Touman and does everything she can for the good of the gang.

He usually acts as an advisor to Takemichi, helping him create plans before taking action, giving him advice, or being his emotional support.

Souya Kawata (河田・ソウヤ, Kawata Sōya) is the vice-captain of the fourth division of the Tokyo Manji Gang, and Smiley's younger twin brother. Like his twin brother Nahoya, Souya is a short young man with a small build. He has fair skin with a light tan, and his curly, fluffy hair is turquoise, matching the color of his eyes.

Souya always maintains an aggressive expression on his face, with the veins bulging, making him appear angry or grumpy even though he's usually not. This is precisely why Souya has the nickname "Angry." He's normally seen wearing his Toman uniform, though he's also been seen in the outfit he wore when he was the leader of the Twin Demons team alongside Smiley. He wears two long silver earrings in his right ear. Despite his perpetually angry expression that makes him seem like a tough guy, Souya is actually a very kind and pacifist boy who cares deeply for his friends and his twin brother, and wants to protect and support them at all costs. Nahoya states that Souya is too nice to hit anyone unless he has a reason to. Like his twin, he is very loyal to Toman.

Nahoya Kawata (河田・ナホヤ, Kawata Nahoya) or Smiley (スマイリー, Sumairī) is the captain of the fourth division of the Tokyo Manji Gang and Angry's older twin brother. Nahoya is a short young man with a small build, but he compensates with brute strength. He is always smiling, which is the reason for his nickname, "Smiley." He has fair skin with a light tan, and his fluffy hair is a peachy-orange color. The color of his eyes is currently unknown, although they are most likely the same color as his hair or a similar shade. Nahoya is usually seen wearing Toman's uniform. When he is not wearing his uniform, he often tries to match his clothes with his twin brother Angry's, but with the colors reversed. We've also seen Nahoya wearing the outfit he wore when he was the leader of the Twin Demons team alongside Angry. He wears two silver earrings in his left ear. It's very difficult to tell what Nahoya is thinking, as he always maintains the same expression on his face. No matter what happens, his smile never fades, even if he's angry or worried. One thing is for sure: Nahoya will do everything he can to protect his twin brother, Souya. Unlike his twin, Nahoya loves to fight, especially against a strong opponent.

He is very loyal to the Tokyo Manji and cares about all the members who are close to him. We could also see that he has great respect for Mikey, even getting angry when he thought Takemichi was disrespecting him.

Hakkai Shiba (柴・八戒, Shiba Hakkai) is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Second Division and the youngest member of the Shiba family. Hakkai is a tall boy, standing at 183 cm, almost as tall as Draken. He has indigo eyes with long lower eyelashes, and his short hair is an imperial blue. The left side of his head is shaved in a pattern of curved lines. He wears a single earring in his left ear, and a straight scar runs vertically across the left side of his lip. In 2008, he can be seen with shoulder-length hair, cut short at the bottom, revealing the spiral pattern when tied in a ponytail. His earring is replaced with a three-link gold chain. As an adult, his hair is short and blond. Hakkai is a very friendly boy despite having a reserved and shy personality. He changed a lot after meeting Mitsuya, because before they met, due to his family problems and the influence of his older brother, Hakkai hit other children, leading him to be considered a troublemaker. It was thanks to his friendship with Mitsuya that Hakkai understood that not all problems should be solved with violence and that his strength should be used to protect, not to harm, other people.

He is a loving and compassionate person, especially towards those closest to him. He would do anything for his older sister, even going so far as to confess to his brother's murder so she wouldn't have to face the consequences. However, even then, he wasn't able to protect Yuzuha from Taiju's abuse because of his fear of him.

Draken is slender but muscular; quite tall for his age, even Takemichi once mentioned that his physique doesn't look like that of a teenager. His hairstyle consists of shaved sides to show off his distinctive dragon tattoo, which he got when he was still in elementary school. He has long hair on top, which he ties into a braid, leaving a few strands loose in the front. He also has a scar on the left side of his abdomen from being stabbed by Kiyomasa.

When he was with the gang, he usually wore the ToMan Toppoku, and his favorite casual outfit seemed to be a long patterned jacket. At times, Draken can be somewhat aggressive and wild, but he's not impulsive. He loves a good fight and facing strong opponents. He's rude to those he considers inferior and makes it clear he doesn't like them.

He always thinks things through calmly and tries to find the best solution, making him the most mature of the commanders. He empathizes with others and is respectful, sometimes silently enduring shouts and insults. He always follows his instinct: to do what's right. However, there are times when anger takes hold of him and he lashes out in fury.

He is also a very affectionate person, even though he hates showing affection to the people most important to him. To try and demonstrate his affection, he does everything in his power to take care of them. This is shown in the way he treats Mikey, treating him with great patience and caring for him like a little brother. Another example is when he gave Emma a stuffed animal for her birthday, and later she mentions that it was one she had been wanting for a while.

Manjiro Sano (佐野・万次郎, Sano Manjirō) is the deuteragonist of the story, a founding member and commander of the Tokyo Manji. He was the commander of a gang called "Kanto Manji." In an alternate future timeline, he creates a criminal gang called "Bonten." Mikey is a slender, muscular young man of below-average height, with piercing black eyes and long blond hair that is only tied back at the top, leaving the sides flowing freely. He rides a CB250T motorcycle owned by his brother, Shinichiro Sano.

In his first appearance as an adult, Mikey appears with short black hair and a dragon tattoo on his neck similar to those of Draken and Takashi Mitsuya.

In one of the timelines he has short silver-white hair with a cropped hairstyle in the middle and a Bonten tattoo on the nape of his neck with a design similar to the earrings of his adoptive brother, Izana Kurokawa.

In the latest timeline, Mikey as an adult has the same hairstyle he had when he reunited with Takemichi in Manila, only without any tattoos. Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who loves to joke around and play pranks on his closest friends. He cares deeply for them and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any sign of weakness, as he is believed to be the foundation and support of ToMan, and if the pillar itself were to show weakness, ToMan would also be weakened.

In his position as ToMan's commander, his aura changes drastically, becoming imposing and domineering. While the gang members respect him, they also harbor a certain degree of fear toward him and his immense power. Mikey is also concerned about ToMan on an individual level, as shown when he decides to rally the entire gang to seek revenge for one of their member's friends.

The events that unfold throughout the story force Mikey to mature rapidly. He's still an incredibly charismatic leader, but now there's a melancholy in him.

As an adult, Takemichi is a man of average height with messy, wavy black hair. He wears ordinary clothes. He usually has a tired expression due to the stresses of life. As a teenager, his hair is bleached yellow and styled in a "fake delinquent" look. When his hair is undone, it resembles his adult hairstyle more closely. He wears the Mizo High School uniform, which consists of a dress shirt, black pants, and loafers when at school. During his time with ToMan, he wears the gang's attire: a customized black Toppoku shirt with the ToMan logo.

His eyes are also noticeably larger and more hopeful, possibly because he hasn't yet experienced the hardships of adulthood. He wears a necklace that matches his girlfriend's. He has a large scar on his left hand from being stabbed with a knife. He also has a bullet scar on his left foot, though it's never shown. He's a somewhat shy and childlike man, even though he's mentally an adult. Although he can sometimes appear cowardly and often shows fear in certain situations, he's always willing to fight for his loved ones and doesn't care if he's brutally beaten, stabbed, or shot; he'll always get up to face his enemies.

Furthermore, he doesn't hold grudges against people who have done wrong unless it's something extremely serious or they have a motive for such actions, as seen when he saved Mikey from suicide and even went back in time to save him, despite Mikey having previously shot him and committed terrible acts. This contrasts sharply with Kisaki, who was responsible for the deaths of his friends multiple times, and Kisaki himself had no real reason to kill them.

Baji is a young man of average height with brown eyes and long, slightly wavy, shoulder-length black hair, which he usually keeps loose, only tying it back in a high or low ponytail before a fight. One of his most prominent features is his two sharp fangs, which, when he smiles, give him a somewhat savage appearance.

When he was younger, Baji had short, messy hair with flipped-out ends, and wore a striped shirt, slightly baggy white pants, and black sandals. He can also be seen with his hair styled to the right side and tied in a low ponytail, wearing glasses and his school uniform.

Most of the time he appears wearing his ToMan uniform.

When he was involved with Valhalla as one of its members, he wore a white jacket with the distinctive logo, which consisted of a headless angel with "Team Valhalla" engraved on top.

In the original timeline, Baji doesn't appear any different, except for his hair, which is slightly shorter and layered, with bleached tips. Baji is generally a wild and ferocious individual. He tends to get angry with people who disagree with him or simply for the sake of being annoyed, as Mikey himself said: "He'd punch a kid walking down the street just for being sleepy." He loves the thrill and adrenaline rush of a good fight. In combat, he always maintains his signature grin.

He is also very perceptive. His keen perception allowed him to see the true villains threatening ToMan, being the only one besides Takemichi to realize it. Even Tetta Kisaki himself admits that Baji has been the only one to outwit him.

Baji is extremely loyal to ToMan. He is willing to pose as a villain in front of his friends and comrades to protect them, joining Valhalla with the purpose of unmasking Kisaki and saving Kazutora, who was being manipulated.

Mucho was a tall young man with a large, muscular build. His eyes were turquoise (though in the anime they appear more brown), and his blond hair was styled in a prominent cut with the sides completely shaved. He usually wore the Tokyo Manji uniform, but stopped wearing it when he left the gang and joined Tenjiku, wearing his new gang's uniform ever since. Mucho was a calm and composed man, an extremely unusual trait among delinquents. He rarely showed his emotions, keeping his face neutral most of the time; however, his regret for betraying Toman was evident. Before leaving the Tokyo Manji, he apparently had compassion for its members and claimed to despise the gang's infighting. As captain of Toman's Fifth Division, Mucho held considerable power over his division. Mikey himself granted him the special role of interrogating potential traitors within the gang without the express permission of the gang's leaders. After becoming an executive at Tenjiku, Mucho had a decent amount of authority over the criminals who were part of that gang.

Mitsuya is a young man of average height with a muscular build. His eyes are lavender, and his short hair is light lilac. He has a piercing in his left ear, a black earring with silver crosses. He also has a dragon tattoo on his right temple, identical to Draken's. The tattoo is now hidden by his hair. He is often seen in his ToMan uniform, and when not, he wears a variety of outfits, from a layered zip-up vest over a T-shirt to a matching color-blocked ensemble.

In high school, Mitsuya sports a shoulder-length mullet and wears a white T-shirt with black long sleeves.

Sanzu is a young man with long, straight, pink hair (though in the anime his hair is white), slightly droopy blue eyes, and long eyelashes, making him look very similar to his sister, Senju Akashi. He is usually seen wearing the Kanto Manji Gang uniform.
He dislikes spicy food because it makes him sweat, he loves cheesecake, and he's a clean freak.
When he was affiliated with the Tokyo Manji Gang, Haruchiyo wore his standard gang uniform with a black mask to cover his scars. When he was much younger, he kept his short hair styled to one side and gelled back on the other. He never wore a mask until he met Yasuhiro Muto.

As an adult, Haruchiyo's pink hair is styled in a mullet that reaches his shoulders. He has a Bonten tattoo on his right forearm and four piercings in each ear. He frequently wears formal attire.

Haruchiyo's eye color changes frequently. It's primarily blue, but in the manga, green, yellow, and pink eyes are also seen. In an alternate timeline, Haruchiyo had a scar over her left eye instead of her mouth.

After Takemichi and Mikey successfully averted tragedies by time-jumping together, Haruchiyo no longer has any scars.

As an adult, Sanzu sports a mullet hairstyle with longer hair in the back that reaches his shoulders. His style of dress has become more elegant over time; he wears a formal blue-violet suit with a black tie with red stripes and no longer wears his black mask, which he stopped using after killing Muto. He also has a tattoo of Bonten visible on his right forearm.

In his youth, he had short hair styled to one side and slicked back with gel on the other. He never wore a mask until he met Yasuhiro Muto. As for his piercings, he was only seen wearing them in his right ear.
