Jungkook had learned that there were three types of people who took the bus at seven in the morning. Those who were half asleep. Those glued to their phones. And those who boarded looking like they wanted to sue the entire city. The boy who had just gotten on definitely belonged to the third group. Jungkook looked up from his phone when the doors opened. First, he saw the shoes. Clean. Too clean. Then perfectly pressed trousers, a light-colored shirt, and a coat that probably cost more than everything Jungkook was wearing. And finally, he saw him. Perfectly styled hair, flawless skin, and an expression of utter horror as he surveyed the inside of the bus. Jungkook had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. The boy took a step inside. He looked both ways. Then he looked at the floor. Then he looked both ways again. He seemed to be searching for an emergency exit. Jungkook smiled. He'd definitely never taken a bus before. Taehyung took a card out of his wallet. He stood in front of the reader. He waited. Nothing. He brought it closer again. Nothing. He turned it over. Nothing. Jungkook finally spoke. "It's on the other side." The boy raised his head. Their eyes met. And for a second Jungkook forgot what he was going to say. Ah. He hadn't expected that. He was even prettier up close. Jungkook pointed to the reader. "The card goes on the other side." Taehyung looked at the card. Then at the reader. Then back at Jungkook. "That's what I was doing." "No." Jungkook smiled. "You've been trying to pay for like five minutes."
