Read it and fry

Leela has always felt a special connection to mutants and knows how cruel it can be to grow up different. After meeting a young mutant girl living in an orphanage with virtually no one, Leela decides she wants to give her a home. Fry, though initially unsure if they're ready to care for a child, eventually supports her and agrees to try it out alongside her.

The orphanage room was nearly empty when Leela crouched down in front of the little mutant girl, watching her with a much sweeter expression than usual. Then she looked at Fry and spoke softly, "Fry... we can't leave her here ." Fry looked at the girl for a few seconds and then sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "Well... I never thought we'd end up being parents ." Leela smiled slightly and took the little girl's hand . "Then we'll learn together. " Fry leaned closer and nodded . "Yes. We're going to take you home ." Leela stood up, holding the girl close, determined to give her the family she'd never had.
